It's got live music and the vibe would've been great, if the staff didn't treat you based on appearance. Im a solo traveler, can't speak thai, and entered. Waited several minutes to be seated before I eventually seated myself and several more minutes to be given a menu and be acknowledged. All this time I noticed the staff waiting on other tables. I wouldve chalked this to them being busy, but we will get to that in a sec.

Finally given the menu, asked for a drink, was told they don't have it. I asked for another, was told it's not available again. I asked for a beer, and pointed to one I've never seen before, though the most expensive. Waitress looked at me and seemingly gave me the expression on whether I can afford it by pointing at the picture of the beer. I said yes, she pointed at the price. I said yes again, she finally got me one with a room temperature mug. Now I looked around, everyone got either frosty mugs. Mines regular.

Guests started coming in and what do you know, the staff starts seating them immediately. All smiles. You might think, oh, it's because they can speak Thai so it's a lot easier. No. Two white guys came in, immediately served, immediately attempted broken English.

I came here while travelling with my boyfriend. We had 3 food dishes to share, the squid fried rice, fried crocodile (!?!!) and pork satay, and the food was lovely, and very well priced. We had a Chang beer each and ended up having 6 in total, which were also well priced, and two shots. The atmosphere was amazing - live music playing Thai songs and a couple of English ones we knew! Delicious food, friendly staff, and great band really interactive with the customers, so much fun!!!!!!!!. I had deep-fried calamari and fried shrimp with garlic. The band started at midnight and sounded amazing, perfect volume. You can still have a conversation with the band playing. I highly recommend this...
