I really enjoyed the day here, a nice swim/sun day in Antalya. There is a fee to enter but that's normal for a setup like this with your own chair/umbrella, food/drinks served to you, well maintained sea access etc.
The staff kindly ensure you are happy with the amount of sun/shade you get by adjusting the umbrella. There's two different access to the Mediterranean to swim, the water is quite clear and not tons of fish but enough to have some interest. A bit pricey but good food in my view (at least the sea bream) and Turkish coffee. The bathroom and changing rooms are clean. Cute cats wander about. You can lie back and listen to the sound of the waves against the rocks.
Comparing this with an exhausting tour to Adrasan, with 4 hour drive roundtrip, to frankly kind of overcrowded and disappointing beaches, I found the experience of going here to be far more enjoyable and relaxing.
If you're staying in central Antalya, and not at a resort hotel with its own private beach etc, I think this is the best way to have a...
Read moreI’m absolutely furious! I’ve been coming to this beach every single day for a week, and each day I reserved the same spot for the next day. Today, I was told I couldn’t have my usual spot because someone else supposedly reserved it for the week. This is despite me making it clear from the start that I’d be here daily!
When I complained, the staff were dismissive and basically told me I’m not a priority because I “only” paid the 300 TL entrance fee and didn’t spend more on food or drinks. This is an unwritten rule they conveniently decided to enforce today!
It’s disgraceful customer service and shows zero respect for paying guests. Especially considering there are limited beach options nearby with Mermerli Beach closed, this experience left me disgusted. I’ll never be coming back, and I’ll make sure everyone knows how poorly they treat...
Read morewhen we were going downstairs we were sure we were approaching a free public beach, as the stairs and surrounding area reminds more of a landfill - litter, broken glass is everywhere. The beach area itself was also not in the best condition, and to our great surprise it turned out to be a private beach with a price tag of 300 tl per person. It was a very nice day for the very end of march and it would be great to dive in, but…they don’t even accept cards. I dunno, it was off-season, they still charge a very high price for entrance, they don’t accept cards, the nearest ATM is really far away, and the beach doesn’t live up to any expectations of a private beach with high entrance fee. I don’t know why the owners think it is acceptable to charge that much and offer so little...
