DENİZE KARŞI GARDEN — Restaurant in Muratpaşa

This used to be my favorite place for morning coffee. However, during today's visit, I noticed that the price had increased by almost 30% since my last visit, while the coffee cup size was reduced. It's amusing that they thought this change would go unnoticed. When I complained, they switched back to the original cup, but the price hike was evident when I went to pay. I had visited at least 10 times before, and the price was always 105 TL, but now it's 135 TL. They blamed the general economic situation, but other cafes still charge much less. You pay for the view here, but I don't think it's worth the premium they're asking given the service is inconsistent. One last thing: the 90s music tape they play, over and over again, is awful. Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cutting Crew... How can you ruin such a beautiful view of the Taurus mountains with such crass music?...

It's expensive for what you get. Our order got mixed up (two of the dishes were wrong, but the waiter changed the main one easily). The side chips were a bit strange - they were supposed to have cheese on top, but had a flour dust or something else on top? But the chips themselves were still good. The quesadilla was really good! The meat on the kebab smash was decent, but not sure about the bread pieces that were part of the dish - a bit stale & didnt soften with the sauce. Ordered sausage & chips for my child, the chips were good, but the sausage was really not good plus it came with sweet chilli sauce, which was a strange choice because it's too hot. The location is great. The morning is cool and secluded. Very crowded in the evening. It's not very clean. The cuisine is not elaborate. The most serious annoyance: loud and noisy uniform music. Constant whistling music in such a quiet location. Gets a headache after a while. It is understandable if it is a very young audience. However, the attendees are mostly middle-aged. WC is paid. 2 liras. They said there is a shared WC. But it can find a solution. It is not a solution oriented business. It has no advantages other than...
