Coffee was very good but food isn’t worth neither money nor waiting. Roast beef sandwich is supposed to have some roast beef but in fact there were only two pieces of plain bread and cheese (probably from nearest grocery) and one tiny piece of some cured meat. Toast with avocado mozzarella and poached egg wasn’t even a toast! There were some slices of avocado on the bread, not very well done eggs near it and some vegetables. It looked like I made it at home myself! First time we came here there wasn’t any food but they told us it was due to the COVID-19 and next day they were going to have it. Also we were told that we couldn’t paid by card for the same reason. When we came back next day at 8:30 they were closed although it’s said they should be open from 8:30. When we came back today after three weeks and finally tried their food we were quite disappointed. Also we couldn’t pay by card again (they said something was broken). So maybe they just try to avoid some fees. Anyway I recommend this place if you want to have some good coffee in a modern designed cafe but if you want to have a breakfast find another...
Read moreVisited on the first day of my trip, and kept visiting everyday til the last day of trip. This cafe is one of the best, if not the best, in Istanbul.
I had their Iced Mocha, and my husband got the Iced Americano & Iced Latte. We both tried their Turkish Coffee as well. Every time the drink was fantastic, so tasty with deep flavors, and all at a great price. The Iced Mocha is one of the best Mochas I've ever drank. I am picky about coffee as well, esp. a Mocha which is typically too sweet/too strong. Theirs is perfect.
We also had the San Sebastian and it was so good, not too sweet and the perfect temp, texture, sweetness/sourness (of cheesecake).
Not only is their location great, (a short walk from Hagia Sofia/Blue Mosque area), but their staff is just amazing. Every employee is so nice, quick, and friendly. They give perfect vibes to start your morning with.
If you do not visit this place you're truly missing out. They offer breakfast, coffee, frappes, and more.. I will miss North Art cafe, and wish I had...
Read moreWe were looking for a good breakfast and found an excellent one.
We were a little tired of the classic Turkish breakfast and decided to try this café. We had a very good time. The cafe offers different dishes of eggs, avocados, cheeses, typical Turkish products and of course a wide choice of drinks with coffee, tea, smoothies and much more. The quality of the food is very high, excellent flavors and everything is freshly prepared. I chose beaten eggs with marinated guacamole, salad and an addition of peanut butter. What a treat! Also, the staff is very friendly, helpful and fast. The bar is small but functional, we did not wait long before sitting down and were served right away. It is a modern bar and you can see that it is run by people who have lived in international environments. After finishing breakfast we visited the art gallery on the second floor, which was very interesting.
I highly recommend this Bar, you will not be...
