We've only eaten there once so far this trip but can almost guarantee we'll be going back before we leave. We had the daily special of applewood smoked pork tacos which have a layer of coleslaw underneath. My husband who doesn't like coleslaw raved about them for 30 minutes lol. We followed this up with the churrows that come with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce which was also pretty good. Personally I like Mexican churros much better but these are still worth getting. The chocolate sauce was a darker cacao flavor than the American style sickly sweet version which I really appreciated. I also got a non alcoholic cucumber water that I admit took a couple of minutes for me to acclimate to but I did like. It had a strong cucumber flavor & just a touch of spice and kind of a heaviness of like a bloody mary. I think it would even better with a shot of vodka. Everything is super clean including the bathroom. Overall we were impressed & very pleased with...

ย ย ย Read moreI have never felt so disappointed in a meal my entire life. $85 for two beef tacos, 10 of the smallest chicken wings I have ever seen, and 3 truffle mac n cheese balls. The portions were so small, it wasn't enough food for myself and my 13 year old daughter. The two drinks we ordered were just glasses full of ice. They were gone in two sips. Food was served on paper plates, with plastic cutlery, and kitchen roll on the table instead of napkins. You order at the truck and get your drinks from the bar yourself. Nothing wrong with any of this...exept for the $85 price tag for self service, truck stop quality food, tiny portions, and disposable plates. The outdoor setting was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and warm. Yet I sat there feeling sorry for myself because the feeling of being thoroughly conned just would not leave my soul. Shame on you Cocovan. One more thing, there is no truffle in the truffle...
