This is not my first time at L’eto, as I’ve been to their Galleria branch, but it’s my first at their Yas Mall branch. We had the Tonkatsu chicken sandwich, the Jasmine passion ice tea, mozzarella and tomato croissant, latte, and the chocolate cinnamon cake. I personally enjoyed the Tonkatsu sandwich as I found it to be light and tasty, however the salad that came on the side was a bad concoction. The mozzarella and tomato croissant was ok, I personally wouldn’t pay 39 for a croissant like that and I found the price ridiculous. The Jasmine passion ice tea was really good and refreshing! The chocolate cinnamon cake, however, was a DISASTER! The cake was DRY, that it tasted old. It has cinnamon in its name, but there was no cinnamon whatsoever. I also found the jam in the middle pointless as it ruined the taste. The cake was quite disappointing because of how much people hype L’eto’s cakes ): . Our waitress was really friendly and the place has a nice ambiance even though it’s literally just in the middle of the mall, with no official space, like their galleria location. Overall, I may be back for tea or their...
Read moreNice place looking and location is good also. Just in the middle of the mall center. However there is a problem either between chef and waiters, or chefs are not taking into consideration details of the order. Every time we are ordering food we are asking not to take any spices and black pepper (due to allergy). Every time waiter is even repeating himself and after bringing dish with black pepper. So every time we have to return. I understand if it’s happened one time, but it’s happening every time and even different locations (for instances, Yas mall and galleria mall - same story). Obviously it’s disappointing and changing your mood for meal, because we have to wait until the dish is redone. The desserts are nice, looking nice, but when they do cut piece from big cake they always cut older part and dry…. One item is always good and brought as per initial order is iced latter. But for these prices in cafe, it definitely should be...
Read moreThe place is undeniably beautiful, peaceful and neat. The service was as expected, I initially went there for a late breakfast or a brunch however after looking into the menu for some time nothing stood out and it frankly felt a bit flat. I mean dynamite shrimp sliders ? Really..? Anyway.. I decided to opt for some dessert as the place is well reviewed on that, I ordered a tiramisu and I must admit it was delightful. The presentation was disappointing(see picture) Is it worth the 60+ AED? I’m not sure. I then ordered some strawberry mojito which was uninspired to be honest, tastes like any other 18AED mojito in your average restaurant. Definitely isn’t worth 40 something dhs. Overall I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon and if so it will be only for a tiramisu with...
