Malay Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Our dinner made delicious by "MALAY ASIAN RESTAURANT " that offers wide veriety of Malaysian and asian food. They are famous in making best "nasi lamek" in Abu Dhabi. It was my first time trying some Malaysian food and im amazed how amazing and delicious this food is. We had several dishes -------STARTER------ KARI PUFF/ CURRY PUFF It was very delicious,  crispy from outside stuffed with mild spicy beef curry. Taste was so delicious.

MARTABAK MAGGIE These were like fried cutlets of spiced maggie noodles. The taste was so yummmyyy. 😋 ------MAIN COURSE------ NASI LAMEK These are the fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and served with cucumbers, onions and choice of gravy. We had "AYAM BEREMPAH" which is fried crispy chicken marinated in special malaysian spices and herbs. It was served with boiled egg. Taste was so unique and so different.

MEE GORENG BIASA They havd options of spaghetti, vermicelli and flat ricr noodles. We chose flat rice noodles. They were spicy and so so tasty. Served with crispy fried chicken and fried shrimps. And sautéed vegetables.

CHICKEN SATAY It was a unique dish,  perfect if you have Malaysian taste buds. The chicken had a unique flavour. Served with peanut sauce, cucumbers and onions.

-------DESSERT------ We chose to have donuts. They were freshly prepared and coated in icing sugar. So soft and so tasty.

--------BEVERAGES-------- OREO MILKSHAKE It was so creamy with perfect balance of sweetness and flavour.  Perfect for kids.

DURIAN MILKSHAKE it was so unique,  sweet and rich in flavour.  You gotta try this to feel how amazing it is.

COFFEE I can't describe  the aroma and flavour in words. It was that good 😋

The ambience is sooooo good. I just loveeee the decor, so chic,  so cozy. Their owner and staff are so humble. COVID SOPS were being followed. Food served on time. I would highly recommend this place to try some amazing...

Such a lovely start to a delightful weekend with pure authentic malaysian food at @malayasian.restaurant .It's a newly opened restaurant in the heart of the city Abu Dhabi it's a beautiful restaurant with delicious malaysian food and nice ambiance ,we had a wonderful time by enjoying some of their best selling items from their great menu we started with :

Fried Vermicelli Bull's Eye Egg, this dish was so delicious and was full of flavors that will surely take your taste buds to another Level perfect meal for kids and adults with egg on top and noodles beneath with mixed chicken so good 👌🤤

Beef Rendang was also so good like a thick curry of spicy 🔥 beef served with boiled rice,boiled egg ,pappad ,red beans and cucumber seemed a perfect hearty meal 👌👌

Chicken Satay tasted a bit sweet and slightly spicy at the same time ,cooked to perfection and really yummy 😋👌👌

Charcoal Grilled Fish was something unique for us to try it was extremely good to taste and tasted perfect with boiled white rice 🐟 Tom yum soup 🍲 was so good hot and spicy with sea food in side 🤤 full of flavors 😋

For desert we enjoyed Air Batu Campur it was quite huge for us it was loaded with goodness of jellies ,ice cream shaved ice along with corn and red beans so unique ♥️😍

For Drinks loved the Hershey's Milk shake so creamy, thick and delicious 😋

Ended 2019 with a bang as I visited my long awaited travel to Malaysia. Travelling and trying new cuisines is my passion, and I could not wait to travel back there to see my family once again - if it wasn't the pandemic affecting us all.

Living in AUH for the past 2 months, I started to crave the same food I ate back there and thankfully found Malay Asian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi! Nasi Lemak A jasmine rice dish cooked in coconut milk with a side of sweet sambal sauce, peanuts, fried dry fish, cucumber, hard boiled egg with a main curry of various choices. I chose Beef Rendang as it was my absolute favorite back in Malaysia.

The dish did a 100% justice to the meal I had in KL and I couldn't had loved it more! It is super filling, full of flavor, and a must-try at this restaurant.

Mee Goreng We have all heard of Mee Goreng at various restaurants around the city and over UAE. It is basically Fried Noodles. In absolute honesty, my friend who joined me in visiting this restaurant, did not think high of this dish until she tasted it. She LOVED IT!

Nasi Goreng A fried rice dish topped with an egg. I chose to have the Nasi Goreng Seafood dish to give the seafood a try. At this point, I wished I had a bigger capacity to eat it all up. No kidding.

Chicken Satay Called Satay Ayam in Malay, this chicken skewer dish comes with a side of peanut sauce!
