Philippine House Restaurant — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Sorry, kabayan, but I am not impressed with the food that we ordered on that day.

It's our first try on this restaurant, and this review is based on my own opinion and expectation only.

They have a budget meal, where you can choose meat paired with veg and a pancit and rice, but drinks are not included.

Barbecue: it was sour for me and not a hint of bbq taste or flavor, I am not fond of sour bbq, so i dont know with your taste preference. Mixed vegetables: nothing special, a simple house tasted vegetable. Ampalaya: bitter and unsalted. Bland and nothing special as well. Pancit: so so, a bit overboiled. Adobong pusit: The inside is not cleaned well and is not cooked well. (I usually clean the innards of pusit at home, and other restaurants i tried dont have it inside of it too.)

I specifically place the viand to be reviewed because i would still would like to try the other viands. I might just be unlucky with that day.

Service: Nothing special as well... the usual philippine carenderia. Just work and eat. So dont expect a warm welcome.

Atmosphere: its welcoming, good spacing between each diners. Design is so nice boosting my expectation on other aspects.

My friends and I are so disappointed ☹️,we ordered banana toron and it's not what we expected the it has full banana inside instead we are just eating the wrapper on it.The banana is just thin slice and about the pancit also,we asked if how much per serving then the Ate said 10 dirham,again my other friend asked one of the staff cuz my friend was not aware that we already asked,then 1 kuya said it's 20🤷‍♀️.
