This restaurant is a city centre hidden treasure. It's shiny clean, and well decorated in classic Chinese style. However, you will find it in old cinema building on Najda Street. The building itself looks scary as escalators do not work, and everything around is missing the cleaning. Well, the restaurant offers only 2 options: Hot Pot - 50 aed all you can eat and Barbecue and Hot Pot for 69 aed. For both options, the choice of foods is endless: you have display of all possible greens, root vegetables, fungus, seaweeds, mushrooms, tofu, fish slices, shrimps, and another freezer with meat slices and fish/crab balls. For the barbecue, there is a separate display of marinated meats and chicken. Inside the restaurant, you will find separate shelves with all kinds of Chinese sauces, chillies, condiments, confitures, crashed nuts, ext.and also, a range of sides like cooked veggies, fried noodles, and rice together with shrimps and spring rolls. Those are for limitless use. Everything is for self-service. Staff is good. However, it looks like they are a few and busy. It would be good to have a bit more attention. Read moreI recently dined at this hotpot and BBQ restaurant, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and the delicious aroma of grilled meat and savory broth.
The variety of food options was outstanding. They offered a wide selection of fresh meats, seafood, vegetables, and dipping sauces for both BBQ and hotpot. I especially loved the marinated beef and pork – they were full of flavor and grilled perfectly at the table. The hotpot broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality.
The service was also excellent. The staff were attentive and helpful, always ready to refill items or assist with the grill. The space was clean and comfortable, making it easy to enjoy a long, relaxing meal with friends.
One of the best parts was the all-you-can-eat option at a very reasonable price. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was served quickly.
Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys hotpot and BBQ. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and highly recommend...
Read moreWe ate at this place last night, and honestly, the way the owner treated us was such a disappointment. There were five of us at the table, so yeah, it took us a bit longer to cook and eat everything. We had no idea we’d gone past the 2-hour time limit.
When the dessert (buchi) we ordered finally arrived—it already took forever to get served—I grabbed it to share with everyone at the table. Then the owner told the staff to take it back from me and put it back on the serving dish. Like, seriously? How rude is that? I was literally holding the food, and instead of giving us a heads-up about the time limit, they just snatched it back. It was such an unnecessary and disrespectful move.
I have no complaints about the staff—they were doing a great job. However, the owner’s attitude was absolutely disappointing.
In response to the owner’s reply:
Most of the negative feedback here highlights issues with the owner’s attitude. As I mentioned in my earlier comment, no one reminded us, which suggests the root of the problem lies with you. While your food may be excellent, your behavior leaves much...
