Kababji Grill - كبابجي جريل- Galleria Mall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Stopped by with my wife for a weekday lunch around 12:30 on 10th Oct. The place had very low occupancy, with several open tables, so we chose a cozy corner table for us — cushioned bench on one side, chairs on the other. Seemed perfect.

But then, one of the servers strolled over and, without so much as a greeting, told us we couldn’t sit there because it was for four people. He directed us to a cramped table for two right by the entrance. Naturally, we weren’t keen on sitting at this restaurant’s version of a waiting room, so I pointed out that the restaurant had very low occupancy, and there were other people, including a solo diner, sitting at tables for four. His response? Zero acknowledgment. Instead, he just kept parroting that we needed to sit at the narrow entryway table because, apparently, the restaurant was going to get very busy—any second now.

Sure. We weren’t sticking around to see that miracle happen, so we left and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Din Tai Fung, which, by the way, was actually busy. They had no problem seating us at a nice table (incidentally, a table for four), and the service was quick...

I had my worst experience till date in UAE from this restaurant. Being ramadan time, i called the call center checked with them if the services to my location was available and based on their yes- i placed the online order. aftr 2 hrs of order i had called them to check on the status of my order - 667029. After few minutes i got a call stating that they have issue with their charcoal machine and order will be delayed or if you want u could cancel the order. if you need to continue u need to wait another 1 Hr. which was also not a confident feedback. I am suggesting to have more professional approach & this information could have been shared in the intial stage. I now i am glad that my order was cancelled as i feel that the food would have been even more worse. Guys please think twice than proceeding further. Not at all professional, you might loose your money for no reason as they are transparent in sharing any information. Its been 4 months and i have still not...

This is the worst diner in the world! I've never seen worse. everything is very bad. Believe me and don't order anything there. There are scammers and deceivers working there. We ordered a large family portion of grilled meat. but they sent me ridiculous pieces the size of my finger. don't believe the pictures. they are all lying. we spent almost 100 dirhams on something that is not enough for one person. I never set foot in Kakabji anymore. my feet will not be there. I really don't recommend it to everyone. the food is bland. no additional sauces or pickled vegetables. This is bullying and not attitude towards the client. in other places, for 100 dirhams you can overeat the whole family, but not in kababji. eventually. the food is not tasty. portions for midgets. run away from this place. I highly do not recommend it. this was my last experience here. and I wish the management to choke on their excess profits for such an attitude towards...
