A new addition to the Abu Dhabi restaurant scene, and certainly one not to miss!!

Located in Galleria Mall, entrance is street level between Zuma and the Rosewood hotel, actually quite easy.

The decor is lush and creates a great ambiance. Service at all levels including entrance greeters, wait staff and maitre d were all very attentive, efficient and friendly.

We had the business lunch which is great value at 135 each for 2 courses. Portions were quite generous and excellent quality of food. Appetiser I had the tuna tarte which was fresh and flavourful, my partner had the calamari which he said was absolutely delicious. For the main we both had the sea bass which was accompanied by a fennel salad. The sea bass was perfectly cooked with amazing salty and crunchy skin. We shared a dessert, lemon meringue, which was priced at 35 when ordered in conjunction with the business lunch. It’s probably the best lemon meringue I have had in years.

The maitre d very kindly added the cream puffs to share, which were delicious. I couldn’t pick a winner, both desserts were terrific. I just wish I could have finished both but we were stuffed.

We had a glass of wine each as well as a coffee each with dessert and the total bill was exactly 500DHS, which I thought was very reasonable for such a fab meal in a beautiful environment. I will definitely be going back!

Incidentally I hadn’t booked as it was a last minute plan and I didn’t think it would be busy, however we were lucky to get one of their last tables, so do book ahead to avoid...

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality by the attentive staff. Our waiter, Daniella, was a true gem. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered insightful recommendations, and ensured our every need was met with a cheerful demeanor. The culinary journey began with Texas Salad, a symphony of flavors that tantalised the taste buds. The presentation was artful, and each bite was a delightful explosion of textures and aromas. For the main course, I indulged in Steak diane and lobster pasta, cooked to perfection and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The accompanying sides were equally impressive, complementing the main dish without overpowering it. Throughout the meal, Daniella checked in with us discreetly, ensuring our water glasses were filled, plates were cleared promptly, and any special requests were addressed with a smile. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our dining experience made us feel valued and appreciated.

Overall, our dining experience at Flamingo room was an absolute delight. The combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it an evening we will cherish.
