Bedrock Pier 7 — Restaurant in Dubai

We are regular clients to the Bedrock and always enjoy the golf simulator, atmosphere,food, drinks and the staff all give an excellent service, every single one that we have had the pleasure to meet. Today we booked the golf simulator for a couple of hours, unfortunately as we are both just recovering from acute bronchitis and non smokers, we encountered one man who walked into the golf simulator area and played a few darts on his own and lit up a cigarette. We asked him politely if he wouldn’t mind to not smoke as we were just recovering from acute bronchitis and he said no as it was a smokers area. We are also aware that there is an allocated darts area that is a smoking area around the corner for clients like him. So one dart player/board in the simulator area does not make sense. We had to sadly cancel our simulator booking and as we did 2 minutes later he left the area. We suggest this area is dedicated to the golf simulator only, as the groups that book the simulator will have this area dedicated to either, smoking or not . Bear in mind what brings in more revenue, a single player of free play darts or a couple or group playing the simulator with drinks and food? We also play the simulator at Goose Island where the golf simulator is dedicated solely for the golf simulator, therefore there is no conflict amongst smokers or non smokers. Through this conflict at Bedrock, we were fortunate to meet with the new manager William, who dealt with the issue in a 100% professional manner . It is such an awkward situation when a smoker will ignore all pleas regardless of what they are kindly and politely asked and William took it onboard to also ask the smoker to understand the issue to sadly no avail and came and sat with us to explain. He has such a lovely demeanor and had an experienced customer relationship. We were grateful that he tried to explain the situation to the man that was smoking even though he totally ignored William’s explanation. Hopefully Bedrock will take this revue onboard and rectify so we can continue to enjoy our golf simulator . I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bedrock in Pier 7, Dubai Marina, and I'm absolutely thrilled to award it a well-deserved 5 stars! This charming restaurant not only offers an exceptional view of Dubai Marina but also serves some of the best pizza I've ever had.

The service at Bedrock was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience.

We hired the Bunker suite in Bedrock for 3 hours to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a friend. This was excellent value for money as we were able to enjoy the golf simulator, dart board, and private bar service whilst taking advantage of the 3 hour food and drink package. Service was brilliant and all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We even had an assistant to operate the golf simulator and interactive dart board system. The Bunker suite was clean, comfortable and perfect for our requirements. Additionally, it is in a great location and offers a stunning view of the marina. Furthermore, prior to our visit, I had been liaising with the manager, who was supportive, helpful and able to answer any questions regarding our booking. She was able to offer a fair and reasonable deal, and I felt that she went above and beyond to make our celebration enjoyable. I would highly recommend the venue to anyone considering an event, or an evening out...
