Read moreAmazing spot for brunch, great selection of drinks, incredibly tasty food and brilliant value for money using the entertainer.
We were let down by the service which seemed really clumsy. We had to constantly call over the waiter to order drinks and as soon as the person who'd called him over had ordered a drink, he would leave straight away without checking with the other guests, everyone else had a nearly empty glass and wanted to order another drink. However, as soon as brunch finished he seemed very eager to make sure everyone was ordering more drinks.
Food was absolutely beautiful, really enjoyed everything we got. Really enjoyed all the starters and there was a nice variety of everything. In particular the chicken pot stickers and chicken katsu curry were phenomenal. We were let down by service again as only 4 out of 6 desserts actually arrived to the table. The waiter who brought the desserts to the table didn't even realise he was 2 desserts short. We didn't even bother telling our server as it was too difficult to get his attention.
Really nice atmosphere but they would want to think about the volume of music - it's impossible to talk to and hear each other. It was obvious other guests felt the same as there was a proper clear out of guests leaving after brunch. We were one of the only tables of brunch guests who were still there half an hour later. It was much more enjoyable after brunch as the volume of music had significantly reduced and the drinks deal is...
Read moreThis review is about their Saturday brunch. We saw an ad for the brunch on Instagram & noticed it was also listed on The Entertainer, so we decided to give it shot and we were pleasantly surprised.
The staff embodied hospitality at its finest, with their warm smiles and attentive service adding to the overall experience. Special shoutout to Felita, the hostess. That lady was on the move the entire brunch: welcoming guests, taking orders, clearing tables, serving drinks - she is a machine and a true asset to the venue!
The food took us on a delightful culinary journey to Asia.. delicious! They even had a full brunch menu for vegetarians.
The atmosphere was lively, fueled by a fantastic DJ (Maximus) and a contagious party vibe. Staff members get the party started by inviting guests to the dance floor and they even do a jager train.
If I had to provide one recommendation to the venue management this would be it: While the brunch experience is already top-notch, implementing a happy hour post-brunch would be the cherry on top. It would provide guests with an opportunity to continue the festivities instead of leaving and heading off to other bars. They do have a ladies night post brunch but having a happy hour would keep the guys around too.
Overall, Cargo Brunch is a must-visit for foodies and brunch enthusiasts alike. We had a brillant time and will definitely be back again!...
