We passed by for a bite to eat. Unfortunately we left feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed.

Service was ok, and the pimms drink we ordered was the highlight.

The food however was appalling. We ordered a burger and pizza and Belgium cheese bite starters.

The Belgium cheese bite starters was breadcrumbed around the edges, when we cut in the cheese fell out, we expected some sort of binding to hold it together but it was liquid cheese, not even strong cheesy mozzarella. The flavou was lacking. Cooking creme would be the best description of the flavour and texture of the cheese the come out. Breadcrumbs and bland cooking creme.

Moving on to the burger - it was ok, not wow and not bad. Average at best.

The pizza however was atrocious and single handedly the worst pizza we have ever tried. A microwave pizza out of a box would of been better.

We ordered the diavola pizza which was cheese and spicy chorizo. The cheese again like the starter was flavourless and had 0 taste, mozzarella is a bland cheese I know, but this was like eating nothing and adding flavorless calories to your body. The tomato base was also the same, and had 0 flavour. No spicy, no texture, just a thin watery red paste without any flavour. I thought maybe I had covid or lost my sense of taste, but I shared it with my partner who did not believe my reaction, but when she tasted it she also said it was terrible and flavourless. Even the bread had no flavour.

We spoke with the chef and explained it had no flavour, and he made a new pizza, we tried that and it was the same. The only part of the pizza which had flavour was the chorizo on top, which was nice. But we had paid for a pizza and not to just pick off chorizo on top.

A lady come and took our comments on board and wiped the un eaten pizza from the bill which was nice.

While it was nice of them to try and make a new pizza and rectify it and to remove it from the bill, I believe the issue is the products they’re using are not suitable and quite possibly cheap and flavourless.

I asked the chef to try the pizza himself, maybe he did back of house? But I can guarantee if any team member from this establishment tried either of the pizzas which was served they would all agree it was flavourless and the worst pizza they’ve ever had.

We would probably come back for the terrace view and a drink. But won’t be returning for the food...

Mr Nader, This is a reply for your responce below. We did sent you an email to the email address you have provided below with no responce at all. I had been waiting patiently for months for someone to return to my email. It seems that you only write whatever to please the review readers and then do nothing when it comes to action.

Eventhough we had made a reservation couple days before the brunch we were reserved a tiny table where it is never possible to fit all the plates for the dishes they offered. We asked to be seated at a bigger table and we were told that the other tables are already paid for (!) Never heard such a thing in Dubai before as a resident living here 9 years now. If that was an option while booking a table, why weren't we informed about it as we would have paid also. We were then directed to a round table which is actually for 2 people. Asked the staff to please at least add another round table so it can accommodate 3 people with all the plates. We had to wait for that as well. Anyway, it was not a good way to start a Saturday brunch. The staff tries but the service is not as it is supposed to be. We had to wait 35 minutes for a bottle of water. Also the main courses on the brunch were tasteless or undone as the chicken meat was so hard and the beef was overcooked. The starters were better than the main course. I wouldn't come here again. I came with a group of friends to the brunch as they usually have had great dining experiences here, however, this brunch was beyond poor.

The drinks were taking forever, getting 1 beer meant waiting for 15 minutes, and why not-if the was only 1 bartender behind the bar. Appetizers: the salads came to the table warm and smushy, the watermelon in the salad was warm and made us loose the appetite. Water was warm even when we asked for cold water. 2nd round of appetizers were cold, the burgers and the wings should have been hot! We had to constantly get up and go to the bar or get a waiter to take drinks orders, our waitress was running and busy all the time. Main course: the food was good to be fair the quality is good, however, for 9 people (including 2 vegetarian) the portions were ridiculous. Besides the vegetarian “options” were pasta, come on! 450 per person for them to have salad and pasta.

Overall the experience was disappointing, I would not recommend coming for brunch, I’m not pointing at the staff as they did what they could neither the people in the kitchen as I believe it was not their fault but I truly hope someone from the management gets this and revises the staff allocation for this type of event as unfortunately for this one...
