Malibu Sky Lounge & Bar — Restaurant in Dubai

We reserved a table at this restaurant for our daughter’s birthday but had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, there was no one to assist us, and after waiting 15-20 minutes, we moved to the poolside. The staff informed us someone would come to help, but it was a slow start.

We had shared our allergy and food preferences for the afternoon tea, requesting no beef or cranberry, yet they served us dishes with these ingredients.After a long wait, they corrected the mistake but then the other items including croissant was cold.When ordering drinks, the server confused hot and cold drinks, leading to further delays.

At the poolside, we were told to hurry taking picture since hotel guests could take pictures first, which felt unwelcoming.When we ordered a burger, it was served with an open, previously used mayonnaise bottle, which was off-putting.There was no special acknowledgment for our daughter’s birthday, either.Ambience and view is amazing however staff and food is below average.

Though the manager was friendly and checked in at the beginning, there was no follow-up to ensure the rest of the experience went smoothly.Overall, despite visiting several afternoon tea spots in the UAE, this was one of the worst...

My boyfriend and I arrived in this venue, we said to the hostess that we had booked for the afternoon tea. She took us to the table, took our beverage order and said that our food was coming in 10 minutes. After 40 minutes she came back to us saying that our reservation was for the a la carte menu and not for the afternoon tea and that they had only 1 afternoon tea booked for that afternoon with a name very similar to ours and that if this reservation was not coming she could give us their afternoon tea. After one hour with no food just a tea and a coffee, we decided to leave. Later in the evening we received a message saying that our reservation to the Malibu sky lounge was cancelled. Basically, this other reservation for the afternoon tea with a name similar to ours was our reservation. My boyfriend wanted to surprise me by choosing this specific place because he knows I love Emily in Paris. I would not suggest this place at least for the afternoon tea because if there’s a reservation with a similar name to yours they will get confused and you will loose your...

We recently celebrated a very special occasion at Sky Lounge Malibu, Paramount Midtown, and it could not have been more perfect. The rooftop setting with its incredible views created a beautiful atmosphere, and the service throughout the night was exceptional.

The food was outstanding – every dish prepared by the chef was flavorful, high quality, and beautifully presented. It truly made the evening unforgettable.
