We went for our anniversary dinner in a group of 6 adults and 2 kids today. The ambience was beautiful and the place very nicely done up however due to extremely bad service and very small quantities of food with extortionate pricing it was a disaster. I appreciate that you pay high prices for good quality and quantity of food and more so for 5 star service but none of that existed. The dissapointment list: We entered and although part of our group had taken a table, we waited patiently at the door but the receptionist ignored us and was busy on the phone. We stood there carrying a sleeping child in our arms waiting for her to look at us but no response. Waited 15 mins at the restaurant entrance despite booking..nobody else bothered to help. People from our group who had arrived early and taken the table were harassed by the waiters to order while they waited for us to arrive. I must say such pushy attitude is just not good customer service. The most dissapointing thing was despite the urge to order quickly, the food service was absolutely appalling and disastrous. Soup served cold and order misunderstood. Our mains started coming but soup was still not served so we bad to cancel. Main curries and stir fries were served and left on table in the outdoors in winter when they turned cold very quick, with no rice served. We had to ask again and again to bring rice. The fried beef we ordered in starters was very hard to chew and over cooked. The size of portions of every serving was tiny.not enough for a decent serving for one person who is hungry. We ordered two chicken red curries, one hot and one mild and both were put on thr wrong side of the table and marked wrong too. This could have caused some serious medical concerns but by then we had realised how poor the service was so to avoid any medical emergencies we tested the curries first to understand which one was mild. We did feedback during the meal that we were dissapointed with the service so to compensate we were served some bean icecream which was also not tasty at all. I am afraid I wont return to this place and would urge everyone to beware of the situation at this restaurant. It felt like they had too many people and didnt have the infrastructure to...

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the Sunday brunch at The Thai Kitchen Restaurant in the Park Hyatt Dubai, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff, particularly Mark, Ody, and Nancy, truly made the day special.
Mark, with his friendly demeanor and attentive service, immediately made us feel welcomed and comfortable. His professionalism was evident in how he guided us through the brunch offerings, ensuring we had everything we needed. Ody was equally exceptional, bringing a sense of warmth and joy to the table. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure we had an amazing experience from start to finish. And of course, Nancy added her personal touch to the service, always with a smile and a genuine interest in making sure we were enjoying our time. As for the brunch itself, The Thai Kitchen truly delivers an exceptional culinary experience. The spread was diverse and beautifully presented, with a wide range of traditional Thai dishes that were both flavorful and authentic. From aromatic curries to grilled seafood and fresh salads, every dish was a delight. The flavors were bold, yet balanced, showcasing the true essence of Thai cuisine.
The ambiance of the restaurant is another highlight, with its elegant design and serene atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed yet indulgent Sunday brunch.
But what really made this brunch stand out was the impeccable service from Mark, Ody, and Nancy. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we walked in. Read moreI have been to the Park Hyatt restaurants many times and the Thai Kitchen restaurant as well.
Welcoming: The experience of course starts with the arrival in the Main Lobby of the Park Hyatt and the great walk to the Thai Kitchen. Once arrived, you are immediately greeted by a really lovely, professional and courteous team.
Interior/Design: I have visited several Thai restaurants in Dubai in the past, which also have an authentic interior and make you feel like you are in Thailand for 2-3 hours. Thai Kitchen, however, is special, not only because of the choice of materials, but also because of the different cooking stations and the local staff. Above all, a lot of food is openly displayed, which also adds to the atmosphere.
Staff: I would like to highlight this as I have rarely experienced this kind of service. Having been there a few times, they already know my preferences (Tom Kha Gai... ;-)). They regularly ask about your well-being and this is really out of interest and not just because they "have to". I would like to thank the entire (!) team (they know it too), I would like to highlight above all: Sofia (Restaurant Manager) Sarunya (!!!!) Kamonlak (!!!!) Jackielu Carl Sajith (Malinda)
Food/Drinks: Extremely authentic. For example, my benchmark is "Tom Kha Gai", as this shows how authentically the food is prepared. Compared to all my experiences, this one is just fantastic. All other dishes are also tasty, large portions and rice can be requested at any time.
Thai Kitchen is worth a visit anytime as they also have a great...
