Bit of an anomalie. I was in on a Monday evening (passing through the town) hoping to find a place where I could have a decent beer which did not cost me more than a small house and did not involve having to order a bowl of sushi. (This is Bath after all) Ok there is a Wetherspoons but that looked like it was hosting a 6th Form convention and, well, it is a Wetherspoons. Just an ordinary pub like I know in my native North. And there it was. A drinkable (and affordable) pint of a local-ish best bitter, footie on the telly which was entirely unobtrusive and a pool room which did not appear to be a moron magnet. Read moreTui and Tobias were incredible hosts. We had a family wedding from out of town and I called Tui to ask it we could reserve an area for some pre wedding celebrations the night before. It was absolutely perfect. The staff were so friendly and Inviting. My 4 year old daughter was treated like a Queen and we were politely made aware of a 9pm rule to have children vacate the premise. After the wedding the next night I popped in for a pint and spoke with Tui and Tobias. Just lovely people. If you want that human touch experience then this is the place to go. Read moreWe stayed in the Premier Inn across the road and found the Trinity P.H. quite by accident. Near, well presented, staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Football matches were being televised but once finished, sound went off. Lovely atmosphere. I can’t speak for the ales as I didn’t try them but wine was beautiful!
I left my wallet in the pub one night and staff went above and beyond in tracking me down and returning it.
