After waking up with a slight hangover, I knew a good breakfast was exactly what I needed to start my day right. The staff at this establishment went above and beyond in their service. Not only did they recommend one of their special smoothies to help with my hangover – a surprising but effective choice – they also suggested the perfect breakfast: a full English.
The moment my plate arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the hash browns. They were crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside, making them the best I’ve ever tasted. The sausages were of exceptional quality, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection.
To top off this wonderful experience, I decided to enjoy my breakfast outside, thanks to the lovely sunny weather. What a great choice that turned out to be! To my delight, a talented violinist was playing nearby, adding a touch of elegance and serenity to the already great ambiance. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the soothing music made my morning truly special.
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff’s thoughtful recommendations, the outstanding hash browns, and the delightful atmosphere, complete with live music, made for a memorable...
Read moreTerrible experience with an obnoxious, rude and presumptuous manager ‘Janey/ Amy not 100 percent sure of the managers name. I am however so annoyed and deeply offended that I felt like I had to sit down right away and write this review. After waiting 10 minutes for a table I was dismayed to have her accuse me of jumping the queue. Without checking by with any of her other colleagues before embarrassing me in front of the entire restaurant. I insisted on more that one occasion that I had not actually pushed in front of the queue. Other customers also spoke up and told her that I had been waiting for a table in line before all of the people standing behind me. She then accused me of being rude to her when I asked her to check facts with her colleague. To add insult to injury, she spoke to me condescendingly, asking me to calm down as though I were a 5 year old child. This was a clear case of racial profiling. We were the only non white people in the restaurant, why were we the only ones being accused of queue jumping and not given the benefit of the doubt. I ended up leaving as there is no way that I wanted to eat there after the ordeal and unacceptable behaviour. Customer service training definitely required in not alternative manager required. 20/6/21 @ 12 noon...
Read moreFood is too salty the mix of salty mushrooms, eggs and bread plus the sweetness of the baked beans is not great on the stomach. Portion was correct.
Unfortunately the service is regrettable it took 28mims to have our meals (2 English breakfasts) served after ordered online.
And worst is 10mins alone to get drinks ordered at the till to be told “thank you for the order I will get you a glass and can while almost suggesting to get your own drink in the fridge but then saying he will do it…to then sit down and have to wait 10mins and i had to stand up go to the till for then another one to on his PHONE at the till to say…oh I’m coming back and going out the back and all of them to not acknowledge me at all and leaving? Sort of…for then the initial waiting that took my drink order to tell me “oh yes, your drink!”…
10mins for a Diet Coke ! Pathetic !
Can we have the service without any staff? I would take the salty food any time...
