Personally, i have never been to Las iguanas before so it was going to be a surprise for me compared to my friends. I was invited to have a bottomless brunch as a celebration for a friend’s birthday.

Firstly, we were greeted by a wonderful server. She took any special requests into consideration and taught us how their bottomless brunch works. She was wonderful until we had a switch in servers.

We tried numerous drinks during the bottomless brunch (you got to get your money’s worth). Personally, i absolutely loved the drinks. There was a nice variety to choose from and my favourite being the El Toro. However, compared to competitors in Birmingham, from previous experiences Turtle Bay (Brindley place) was a faster competitor compared to Las Iguanas.

In addition I also had the Chicken rice bowl, which felt microwaved and just felt warm. In addition i also tried their beef rice bowl (thanks to my partner) which was also mediocre in taste.

The environment was also feeling silent due to having no music/background sound which i found weird. Personally, i enjoy having some music or live performances playing while dining.

Overall, I believe Las Iguanas to be an under-average restaurant. Maybe during their peak hours where there is more staff to be expected, our experience may have been different. However, i was a little disappointed and there is better competition...

Fantastic Dining Experience at Las Iguanas – Temple Street, Birmingham

We had an amazing time at Las Iguanas on Temple Street, Birmingham, with a group of 10 members. The ambiance was lively, and the service was prompt and friendly, making our visit truly enjoyable.

One of the standout dishes was the Chicken Fajita Stack, beautifully presented in a three-tiered wooden container. The bottom stack held four warm tortillas, the middle-had guacamole, cheese, and sauces, and the top contained sizzling hot chicken with onions and a flavourful spice blend, topped with warm cheese. The presentation and taste were both fantastic!

For sharing, we ordered the Taco Sharing Board and Triple Nachos Grande, which were perfect for a large group. The nachos were loaded with cheese, salsa, guacamole, and jalapeños, making for a deliciously crunchy and satisfying dish.

To complement the food, we tried the Blue Lagoon, served in a striking skull-shaped glass. The mix of Blue Curaçao with crushed ice and a cherry on top made it both visually appealing and refreshing. It was a great drink to share!

Overall, the experience was excellent, with delicious food, a great selection of drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere. Las Iguanas is definitely a great spot for group outings, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and flavorful...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Las Iguanas in Birmingham from 7:30 PM until 10 PM, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a warm and friendly hostess named Jenna, who made me feel immediately welcome. Her kindness set the tone for the evening, and it was clear that the staff at Las Iguanas take great pride in their work.

The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with a lively energy that made it a perfect spot for a night out. The decor was colourful and reflective of the Latin American theme, which added to the overall charm of the place. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we had everything we needed while also creating a relaxed environment.

The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and the flavours were exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. It’s evident that the kitchen team puts a lot of thought and care into their offerings.

Overall, my experience at Las Iguanas was thoroughly enjoyable. The combination of excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Birmingham. I can’t...

So the initial server told us we can use two deals (one being if the free pina colada and the other the 2-4-1 meals) Jenny/Jenna/Jenifer the manager said we can only use one deal so my friend said that we are entitled to 2-4-1 pina coladas then. Which the manager agreed to, she then proceeded to tell my friend that she was being aggressive, my friend responded saying “sorry if i came across like that but I definetly wasn’t, but can I have your name please”. The manager said “I know you’re going to write a complaint”, my friend said “but what if I wasn’t?” The manager said “But I know you will”, so my friend responded saying “You’re very passive aggressive” and the manager had the NERVE and UNPROFESSIONALISM to say “I know” and skipped off. This happened 29/9/24 at around 9pm. We have gone to this branch many times for bottomless and to celebrate birthdays and this was the first time we had such awful customer service, we not be returning. Food is horrible, didn't want to finish it, just stick with a burger and fries, if you actually want to eat and not waste money. Not authentic Latin American food. Drinks are delicious, definitely recommend the pina colada!
