Been here few times really enjoy it the atmosphere and food ..This time the service was really bad had to ask to be served ask to have food ask for drinks basically may as well have served my self from the kitchen would have been quicker ..totally understand staff issues but seriously need to work on this Doing an update after the dismal service last time …we decided to give this place a go again . Have to say not impressed …ordered drinks and food. Asked for all the food to come altogether about 25 mins passed no drinks but then food came and advised that there was something wrong within draft nozzle for the soft drink. Then waited another few mins for the drinks to finally arrive . I asked to speak to the manager after the debacle with the drinks …manager came over took a totally belligerent stance ready for a fight and arguement . All I asked was there was other people coming into the restaurant before us and got served thier drinks before us and why it took so long .. she went to explain that’s the bar service which I get but that means every one sitting for food may as well go to the bar and get drinks quicker . Also asked why could they just not explain the wait time for drinks ..her answer how am I supposed to do that …really didn’t want to engage as all I want to do was express how the service of the time I have been visiting over 4-5 numerous times has fallen ..her snap back at me “we don’t have the staff “ . I get there is issues there but for a customer to express and provide feedback I thought would be welcome I was not asking for a free meal or anything like that ..but clearly the manager was more interested in her opinion about why the place was running the way it is and that’s the way it’s gonna stay even though you give any feedback . To my mind this place will be closed in less than year if this is the approach on the management style and customer service . PS the food has gone down the pan just as the service so good luck

Really nicely decorated casual restaurant with a large cocktail menu. Had a good meal but still room for improvement. The cocktails seemed a bit poorly mixed. Definitely not the best mojito we've tried. I really like that their cocktail menu has a large selection of alcohol free cocktails. I did try one which was supposed to be lavender and apple, it just treated sweet. However this was their first week and they were busy, so hopefully these will improve as they get settled in. I had a selection of vegetarian tapas. Some of these dishes were really very good. I particularly enjoyed the soft shell taco. The portion size was a bit variable, one tapas amounted to three slices of sweet potato with dressing (very tasty though), whereas the nachos portion was huge. There's a large amount of vegetarian choices but nothing was marked on the menu as vegan, I imagine a couple of the choices are vegan, but would be nice to know, I don't like having to ask our check the allergy sheet. My husband had a burger that was served between quesadillas. He raved about this burger for the whole journey home. The words best burger were used, so the four star rating here is really based on that.

We booked for my friends birthday and upon arrival we were met with a rather grim face from the lady on the front desk. While trying to find our reservation, my friend found the booking and pointed it out. The lady then just walked off and we were left wondering what was happening. There was a gentleman at the front desk also, so we asked what was happening. He replied that our table was being prepared. Our waiter Jake was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us!! He made the afternoon and if it wasn't for him i really don't think we would have enjoyed it at all. Food was mediocre, wasn't alot of it either compared to other brunches we have attended in the area. There was a glass that was knocked over on our table from a passer by (complete accident) it was like it didn't happen. I had to ask a waitress walking by if she could help in getting it up, to be told ill do it in a minute. Same waitress walks by a few times. I ask again still nothing. 3 times I had to ask which is very disappointing. I understand it can be busy but when there's been a drink spilled and broken glass on the floor it becomes a matter of safety first. Luckily my friend still enjoyed the outing.

Came here with my Fiance and his cousin from Kent this evening (Friday evening). We decided to have dinner downstairs, then go upstairs later on in the evening for a catch up. Whilst upstairs the bouncer came to our table and aggressively told us to leave our drinks that we paid for and to leave as they were closing (1:20am)-no warning was given to us previously- we explained this to the bouncer that we were not aware that the establishment was shutting early. We informed him that we had just bought our drinks and wanted to quickly finish them before leaving. We also noticed that on Google reviews the establishment doesn't shut until 2am on Friday (normally a heads up is given before hand-this never happened)- we would not have chosen to come here if we had known that the establishment was going to shut earlier than the time listed on Google. He then demanded that we leave our drinks behind and that he did not care that we had just bought our drinks. He accused us of being drunk despite buying 2 regular cokes with no alcohol and one beer. A blonde woman with glasses claimed to own the establishment and excused his aggressive behaviour by stating that they have a right to shut the bar and ask customers to leave. We explained that we were happy to leave, but we were not comfortable with the aggression that this young bouncer displayed towards us. The bouncer then proceeded to tell us several times that he didn't care about his aggression, because he was employed by an agency and being paid regardless. He said this in front of the blonde lady with glasses (who claimed to own the establishment). When we asked her if it was appropriate for him to say that he didn't care about his attitude towards us or that we would be leaving a google review, she told us that she agreed with us, but we were aggravating him by bringing up what he had already told us several times, in front of her! (That he did not care about how aggressive he was towards us and that he did not care about us leaving a google review about this incident, because he was being paid for this job via an agency and had nothing to do with the business). I have been here a few times with friends and even recommended this place as a lovely night out to so many co-workers, family and friends. After this evening we will never come back again and we will not be recommending this place again. We don't feel comfortable spending our money here again unfortunately, due to the lack of empathy towards us as paying customers. Such a shame really because it has tainted the evening for us- a simple apology would have actually resolved this and we do understand that places have to shut and there are procedures in place, however there is no need for such aggresive behaviour. My fiance's cousin had planned another evening here to celebrate with his friends and relatives tomorrow, but has now decided to cancel and find a new establishment, because of what...

Ok so where to start:- We arranged a bottomless brunch premium upgrade (£42.50 per person) and pre booked everything, including food. I did call and explain We would be 10 mins late; staff were fine with this which I really appreciate. We weren't seated until 20 mins after our arrival time which is fine but we weren't allowed to open the bottomless brunch drinks, so would've had to pay £13 for cocktails at the bar 😡 Pretty irritating but ok. Once seated, we weren't served for another 20 mins for any drinks (our bottomless brunch was a 90 minute slot so to some this would make a difference especially with the amount you pay!). We had to order 2 cocktails at a time because of how much the waiter was rushed seeing everyone and how little we saw them. We didn't get any food for over an hour either. I had to ask the waiter, who had to ask me again for our order slot, and by the time it came out, we had 10 minutes left to eat it 😡 The food itself was bad: I ordered a burrito bowl and my friend ordered a burger. My burrito bowl was a couple of mouthfuls of rice in a 7 inch raised plate and my friends burger looked like they had just gone to Macdonald's and put it on a different plate. Maybe rushed because they didn't realise we had pre-booked?Personally was just not happy. We felt pressured to order as many cocktails as possible to break even with the amount we paid for and the service was so slow 😔 The music for 4:30pm was EXTREMELY loud!!! It is a Saturday but both our ears were ringing and our voices were hoarse when we left at 6:45pm which we've never had before, even when clubbing on broad street. Don't recommend at all for tinnitus sufferers. Don't recommend for kids or teenagers. The cocktails themselves were nice but we would've definitely enjoyed them more after our food if it came earlier. The waiters were lovely but under an insane amount of pressure so I feel management have some explaining to do, especially with the music being so loud. The waiter got our cocktail orders wrong twice because they could not hear us, but we felt we couldn't say anything because it will be ANOTHER 20 mins waiting on cocktails 😡 We asked for the bill and requested the gratuity charge be taken off - I had to go through 3 staff to do this which overall took another 15 mins. You're better off going to...

Update: After leaving my original review (below), I was contacted by Joe, the General Manager, who offered a generous gesture of 50% off our bill and a further discount on a future visit. While this seemed like a positive step toward resolving our disappointing experience, unfortunately, the follow-through has been just as frustrating. Despite chasing him for the refund, I only received a generic email saying he would prioritise it - and that was over two weeks ago. As of now, still no refund, and no further communication. It’s incredibly disappointing to be given false promises on top of poor service. This experience has truly been one of the worst in terms of customer care and accountability.

I didn’t really have the best experience here, which was disappointing considering we had looked forward to our visit. From the start, things didn’t go smoothly. I asked if it would be possible for a couple of guests to switch their preordered mains. We were assured via email by Chloe that this would be possible. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the manager would not support such changes. These changes would have been only for 2 meals.

In addition to that, some drinks orders were missing, and we had to repeatedly follow up. Even after the food arrived - with the drinks still missing - the manager, despite promising to sort it out, failed to do so. We ended up finishing our meal and had to chase the manager yet again for the forgotten drinks. I raised these concerns with the manager, explaining the issues with the main course changes and missing drinks. Unfortunately, the manager did not offer any apology.

Adding to the frustration, I had clearly specified in the preorder that one guest couldn’t have anything spicy, yet their burger was still served spicy. The meals were generally quite bland and the “nachos” were literally just plain Doritos with two pots - one of salsa and one of guac.

The one positive aspect of the experience was the waitresses. They were lovely, friendly, and seemed to do their best despite the circumstances. However, it feels like there’s a deeper cultural issue here, as the atmosphere seemed shockingly demotivating.

Overall, this experience left a lot to be desired, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based...
