I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pandamami, an all-you-can-eat buffet located in Chester town centre, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patrons.
One of the standout aspects of Pandamami was the exceptional staff. The team members were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Their professionalism and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
Now, let's talk about the food selection, which I found to be absolutely brilliant. Pandamami offers a wide variety of dishes that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences. From Asian delicacies to international favorites, there was something to satisfy every palate. The quality of the food was top-notch, with fresh ingredients and flavors that left a lasting impression.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to sample their shredded Thai beef, and it was an absolute delight. The tender beef paired perfectly with the aromatic Thai spices, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that had me craving for more. It was undoubtedly a highlight of the meal and a dish I would highly recommend to other diners.
In terms of pricing, Pandamami offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable and in line with the area's dining scene, making it an accessible option for individuals and families alike. Additionally, the drinks menu boasted a good selection of cocktails, allowing guests to complement their meals with refreshing and flavorful beverages.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Pandamami as a fantastic all-you-can-eat buffet in Chester. The restaurant's cleanliness, tidiness, and attentive staff contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere. The food selection is diverse and delicious, with the shredded Thai beef standing out as a must-try dish. With reasonable prices and a well-curated drinks menu, Pandamami is a dining destination that...
Read moreThe welcome was good to be fair and honestly the food was well presented and tasted great.
However I was not particularly pleased by the manner in which my drink order was managed. I ordered a Pina Colada without run and the waiter who took my order was decent enough to write it down on the order. However I was served a Pina Colada with rum. I then informed the gentleman who was managing the floor that evening and I found his response to be rather rude. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he first said he was not responsible for the drinks because he did not take the order and he did not make it. Then after I explained my ordering process where I emphasised no rum in the Pina colada, he advised me not to order the cocktails because they are normally made with rum, which I responded saying I am free to order what I want and have my wishes not to have rum in my drink respected. He then apologised and said he will get the Pina Colada without rum done and will be charged as a mock tail. He sounded as if he was doing me a favor and I should be grateful for it. I would not have ordered the drink without rum if I couldn't afford it in the first place, because not having rum was my choice.
Secondly I went to the dessert table and there was a lady who was manning the table who kept taking platters and removing cakes from one platter to another and swapping them round leaving guests confused as to how to access the deserts. She was standing in the center covering the table and it went on for a bit.
Lastly the check out experience was also disappointing as the lady at the till was rude. She behaved as if we were leaving without clearing the tab for the group of 6 as we were paying the bill individually.
The food was great, hats off to the chefs but the quality of service left a bitter taste in our mouths. It's the service that builds loyalty and increases word of mouth in favour of the business. Kindly work on that.

Read moreI did want to resolve this privately as i know how much bad reviews can cost a company in the industry but because no one has got back to me from the email i sent to them on the day i have no other choice but to do it this way now.
Me and my partner booked a table online for your establishment for 18.00 on the 03/06/25 we arrived 10 minutes before the time and were sat down immediately and got offered drinks with in about 5 minutes of being seated which wasn’t a problem. We had several plates from the buffet including 1 soup each, shredded duck pancakes, different rice dishes. I had the egg fried rice and he had the rice and few bits from the Indian section, vegetable spring rolls and a few other bits including sushi. Within about 30 minutes of still being in your establishment i noticed my partner seemed to look un well claiming to be feel hot, sweaty and feeling sick and asked for a glass of water from you. We then decided it was best to leave as he wasn’t feeling the best. Since coming home from your establishment we have both been throwing up none stop and what looks to be remnants of duck pancakes and rice and i have also been up and down to the toilet multiple times and am not well at all and suffering from bad stomach cramps. I’m a chef in the industry so i know how important food safety and hygiene procedures are and understand that mistakes can sometimes happen but after eating there for the first time we will not be returning as this experience has left us both really poorly. I’m more gutted that i have paid £51 for us to both end up in this condition. If you can please investigate this for me that would appreciated. I’ve already had to call in sick for work tomorrow because of how much pain and how poorly i feel at the moment
Update It’s now 2 days after eating here and still the symptoms have not eased off i’ve now had to lose earnings at work because of how un well i am...
