WOW, WOW, WOW!! Everything about our 2 night stay here was amazing. Upon entering you couldn't be off the truly gorgeous scent which greeted you. This really needs to be bottled and sold, please! We travelled 4 hours for our stay and the receptionist made us aware of a couple of other rooms which were available, having explained previously how undecided we had been when choosing 2 rooms as they were all stunning. She very kindly showed us around the others and we ended up choosing another room. She was very lovely and patient (with us being so indecisive) as was the new member of staff who was with her. Lovely girls. We ended up staying in the Zoo for our first night, being a huge leopard print fan this was everything I could have asked for. It was beautifully decorated, lovely personal touches including sweets left on the table, lots of coffee and hot chocolates. The leopard print chairs were amazing, the air con unit was great and the whole apartment was spotless. Our second night was spent in the Tree House and wow was this stunning. Walking into the apartment you was taken a back by the large kitchen, huge sofa area and tree. Very impressive!! The massive sofa was an amazing idea, with a huge TV on the wall and beautiful blankets… it was heaven. Again everything was spotless, beautiful mirror in the kitchen with leaves, bedrooms and bathrooms decorates beautifully, superb bath…. We did not want to leave. Staff even left me a birthday card on the table which was amazing. Sadly I don’t know all of the receptionist names but Chloe was working on my birthday and was brilliant. Such a lovely girl, helpful, friendly and she even gave us some recommendations and a map to help us find our way around Chester. The location was spot on, so close to everything and a car park next door. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay and we will definitely be making an 8 hour trip to come back next year ❤️

First time visiting from Glasgow, thisplace is located on a wee side street near the shopping centre. Looks cosy and inviting. Easy check in process and the staff member was fantastic. Really regretting not staying another night as iv stayed at the Balmoral, Gleneagles, Cameron house. This is probably the cosiest room and wee hotel i have been to and the price is extremely reasonable, and if you cant manage that they offer Clearpay. Televisions are great, lets you stream all the apps you want. Big hotel chains still don’t do this and try charge you a fee or Don’t have the ability to do it. Everything is walkable, and you’re surrounded by stacks of fantastic small, medium and large restaurant chains. Plenty of options for alcoholic beverages and theres a nice wee cocktail bar called palm that offers 2 cocktails for £12 👏. Lastly if you have parking anxiety this hotel is located next to a multi-storey car park with hundreds of spaces. Summed up, cosy, warm, safe and a great hotel with excellent staff.

Had the pleasure of booking here for a night away for a birthday treat. We chose the Safari room, and WOW! What a lovely concept. Spacious and cozy at the same time. The jacuzzi bath was perfect, with a sky light above it giving it that extra wow factor. A kitchen area also with a hob and microwave, plus AC unit / fan/ other utility items. The staff here were lovely, very courteous. It’s in a great location in Chester, right next to the multi-story car park that backs onto the Grosvenor shopping center so parking is easy, £15 all night. You are a stones throw from the river and Grosvenor park, and minutes from all the great eateries Chester has to offer. Do keep in mind it’s not a quiet area, you can hear cars going in and out of the car park and you are very close to the Church Bar which stays open till around 1am. It did not bother us, but if you wanted a quiet night away bear it in mind. Would happily stay here again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Hotel is new. This is a good thing. It has been renovated and internal of the hotel has mixture of modern and farmhouse feeling. Yet it is a bit over the top...if you could an entire staircase decorated with pink artifical flowers - floor to ceiling - over the top.

The rooms are spacious for Europe. I chose this hotel as the rooms have a kitchen. I would call this a breakfast nook and not a kitchen. No real refrigerator and no cabinet space. That, for me, was a disappointment.

What really bothered me was that by 7 PM no room cleaning had been done and I had to find some way to dispose of the garbage from my attempts to actually cook some food.

Would I stay here again? Maybe. If I was with a significant other and taking in the town, then sure. But on business where I am pressed for time and need to cook food. Probably not.

Update - no room cleaning was done. The front desk person was utterly confused when I asked if this was normal. They left the bag of garbage outside my door (why? I don't know) all night. And to make it even worse... The fire alarm went off at 1:30 AM because someone took a shower that was too steamy? That is what I was told. Strange. Won't stay here again. Not with it with so many other great places to...

Let me start with saying the interactions with the staff in the hotel were superb. Good communications and help so no criticism there. ||Also, the size of the accommodation was good. Stayed in The Ralph which was two spacious rooms nicely decorated. ||The 2 rating is based on my experience and suggests that at another time of year, it may have been different. Issues were exacerbated by the extreme humid temperatures. ||Room - bathroom or more apt, the wet room is tiny. For such a big room thought this was odd. ||There is no air conditioning. Due to the temperatures, a fan and A/C unit was provided but the A/C had to vent through an open window and was very loud. Add to that the hotel location or at least our room faced a busy road and noisy pub which kept us awake. ||The bed its self was very uncomfortable- the mattress was incredibly soft and due to all of the above, we did not sleep well. ||The location is at the back of a multi-storey car park and not immediately easy to find. However, as said the staff were very helpful in guiding us there. ||Lastly the price - over £300 for all of the above was not...
