There is no cocktail bar in Leith that comes close to the quality and inventiveness of what's going on at satyr. If you're in Leith and looking for a drink, whether beer or spirit, this is a place you need to visit. I don't live in Leith but it's still worth walking out there to have a cocktail and chat up the knowledgeable bar staff.
Standout drinks for me are: Martillio, Dark Mark, and Vieux Cafe. If you order any off menu classic, they will make them at a high level.

Cozy and romantic atmosphere with dark blue walls, soft lighting, and candles on tables.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgable about their craft (including ice cubes!)
The menu has a small but perfectly formed selection of cocktails that will please most tastes, with many twists on the classics. The staff are more than happy to go off menu if you wish!
Thereâs also a selection of charcuterie and cheeses which are all top notch.
