Overall, I had a very bad experience at this bubble tea shop. I ordered a brown sugar matcha bubble tea, and it tasted horrible. The matcha was powdery, and the drink was very bitter overall. Perhaps the ratio was off. I've had the exact same drink at Bubble Snap, and there was no issue. The staff was not very happy when I asked to exchange for a different drink because of the above issues. I need to mention that I exchanged for a drink that was a lower price, and I only had two sips of the matcha drink that I originally ordered. I already felt bad asking to change for a different drink, but I was really disappointed when they badmouthed me, thinking I couldn't understand Cantonese. I didn't confront them when they were speaking about me because I didn't want to get into an argument. I have visited two times. First, i bought matcha latte, but it was dark green and taste was not good for me. And today i bought a fruit tea with bubbles. It was my first experience with bubbles at this kind of shop, but the bubbles normally should exploit in the mouth, as I know. This was like jelly and the taste was like starch, not good. My partner and I got bubble tea from this place recently and let me tell ya, best bubble tea we've EVER had !!! I love that you can choose how much ice you get and how sweet you want the tea to be.
