Really enjoyed this experience! It’s a shared food option and largely vegetarian choices which worked well for us with a vegetarian in the group. Food is really nice and quite different to the usual. Would highly recommend the onion bhaji (never seen one like this) and the Bombay burger but all the dishes we had were nice.

With the sharing style, they were really helpful as explaining how much we would want to order. We ordered in the higher end (recommended 12-14 dishes for 6 including sides, starters and mains) and it was a good quantity for us. Our server did say it might actually be too much (as we’d gone for mainly heavier options) but we do like our food!

The naans were much smaller than anticipated and because they bring dishes out when ready, we had no sided left for the dhal when it arrived last which was a shame but very minor points in an otherwise top restaurant.

Would love to go back and try...

I’d recommend booking to avoid disappointment however they do accept a few walk ins. Food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour really authentic taste. Probably the best curry/ indian we’ve ever had. Service was really friendly, attentive and food came fast. It is a menu based for sharing, and they recommend 4 - 6 dishes for two people, which is a great way to try new things. Only thing we wouldn’t say was great was the onion bhaji, however that may just be personal taste and it didn’t affect our overall opinion. All of the dishes we ordered were definitely heavy on coriander, which despite a few strong mouthfuls of it, it didn’t ruin the food, however it may depending on how you like it. Would definitely recommend and a great...

Worst food I have ever have. I ordered pav bhaji, masala dosa, bhel puri and masala chai. The bhaji in the pav bhaji was stale. Just took one bite of it. Masala dosa was a blunder. The masala inside the dosa was not something it sould taste like in the dosa actually. And sambar and chutney served with it was not even close to what it should be like. And the bhel puri was too tangy. We ordered 4 masala chai and what they served was masala latte. I dont why these people open such restaurants and serve indian dishes when they dont know anything about it. Extremely disappointed and wasted a lot of money here. I also wonder how this restaurant have more than 4 rating when it doesn’t even deserve...

Recently visited this restaurant. Some items were good, while others were disappointing. The papad was good (though a bit expensive), but I loved the garlic chutney. The vada pav was good, though it was missing the spicy garlic chutney. The onion bhaji was also good. However, the dal tadka was very bland — it lacked authenticity and flavor. The chole (chickpeas) were just okay. We didn’t like the garlic parantha — it tasted more like something frozen and had too much oil/butter. It’s a shame that even the plain rice wasn’t great — it didn’t taste fresh. Overall, I think the food can definitely be improved. The menu is great, and the ambience is good, but it’s missing the authentic Indian flavors.

Fancied a change from the busy pubs in Keswick and went here mid week. We booked and glad we did as they were pretty full. As we had ordered a large (30ish) party came in, that we think was larger than the restaurant had expected. Whilst they coped well, we did have to wait a little while to get dirty plates cleared and pay our bill. Food was great, no complaints, we had Pani Puri and Dahi Puri from the cold selection. Both lovely. We then had Butter Butter Corn, Onion Bhajis, and the Chole with some rice and a paratha to share. I could eat the corn all day, it was divine. We cook Chole a lot so nice to get a different take on it, was yummy. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

VISIT HERE ASAP! We just turned up on the off chance we could get in and they found us 2 seats in the window. We stayed for over 2hrs and had some of the best Indian food we have ever had. This isn't your normal 'British' Indian food. It's authentic Indian food as you would get on India! The flavours these guys get into every dish is insane and perfect portion sizes for sharing. The manager and his staff are so nice, they really make you feel welcome. They have a great selection of beers on offer too! If you haven't been here then just go and enjoy it, its not to be missed! Thanks guys, see you again soon!!
