Blend On The Hill — Restaurant in England

We loved this place soooo much we came back, twice. It was recently my 10th wedding anniversary, my 40th birthday, and my wife's 40th birthday all within 3 days.

We came in for breakfast on my birthday and happened to get chatting to the chap behind the counter, I didn't get his name unfortunately. Not only did he remember us for the once we were in months ago but even remembered how I took my coffee.

After we'd finished eating I went up to stick £10 in the tips pot, and the chap gave us a bit of cake each as a happy birthday.

This is the sort of service that brings people in again and again. I'd be in every day if possible but it's 140 miles from my house and I can't convince the Mrs to move closer.

Absolute pleasure every time we come in.

Oh and a little tip, try to cafe bonbom, it's like heaven on your tongue.

This is one of the top spots for coffee in town. The black Americano I had was exceptional—bold, well-rounded, and expertly brewed. It’s not often that I find a cup this good, and it certainly ranks among the best I’ve had in Bournemouth.

The café also impressed me with its breakfast offerings, particularly the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached, with a runny yolk that added richness to each bite, while the hollandaise sauce was just the right amount—not overpowering, but enough to enhance the dish’s flavour. It was clear that attention to detail was a priority in the kitchen.

We had a lovely brunch at Blend on the Hill - they had a range of tasty options on their new menu to suit a range of dietary requirements which were all delicious. The coffee was spot on - as was the service. There was six of us and not a big enough table free at the time so the team kindly joined some together so we could all sit together. The setting has a really nice atmosphere with high ceilings large windows and lots of plants. Also wanted to mention they’re dog friendly and brought over a water bowl for our pooch.
