Excellent value cooked breakfast (less than £7!!!) from lovely people. Limited space partly because so many locals come in (obvs a good sign). As much as sausage and bacon float my boat, the best bit was the 'brown bread toast'; it's a fantastic seeded thick cut wedge of taste that deserves a plate of it's own! All done in an incredibly tiny space. Shame it's 150 miles from home 😥 And the teapot was topped up for free 😁

We went here for coffee and a brownie today. The staff were friendly, especially the Scottish woman who bakes all the cakes in the cafe! Coffee and brownies were so tasty, and everything was such good value. We were given a loyalty card, which we thought was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back !

Nice big portions, good coffee and hot choc. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The cafe is warmand and comfortable. Would come back again.

We came here after reading other reviews and were not disappointed, the owners were really friendly with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. The cakes were all home made and very tasty and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered 3 of the cakes and my son ordered a panini which came with a salad and crisps, the cakes were very nice and the lady offered to cut up my daughters tiffin slice into smaller more managable pieces, she also struggled to finish the entire slice so they put it in a bag to take with her.

My sons panini was a very generous size and even though he was starving he still only managed to eat half of it, we had to help him finish it off :). My wife ordered a tea and a creme egg brownie they even offered to top up the hot water in her tea without even being asked which I think is a first for us. Overall we were very impressed with the food and service and would love to come again, the only issue for us is we live 50 miles away so probably won't get the...

Three star is really too kind, considering my experience, and I don't intend to go back any time soon.

The atmosphere felt very crowded and unlike coffee shops like Caffe Nero and Starbucks, or any of the other wealth of independent coffee stores in the area.

It was noisy and raucous with rowdy pensioners scrambling over the papers, I was trying to use the computers and found it very difficult to do so for the lack of space.

I had a mocha frappe also, which wasn't on par with other Caffes and was gritty and watery. It was cheap though, so I guess there's that.

The computer usage was £2 for an hour, which is unreasonable considering I can use the library for free, and the seats and atmosphere are better.

Nothing stood out as terrible, but it wasn't impressive either. The whole experience was 'meh' and I'd be surprised if the place was still open in...

Me and my Mum came in for breakfast a couple of days ago, she highly recommended the place. It's absolutely lovely inside, the food and drink is great and the customer service is second to none. All three members of staff we saw were lovely. I overheard them accommodating customers who had specific needs and preferences which is very considerate. These people genuinely enjoy their job, and it makes a visit there that much more...
