Waited outside this bar to get in friend talking pleasantly to the doorman after 10 minutes got invited in did track and trace friend went to walk in and the door man asked for proof that we had done track and trace she asked how do I show proof. He then proceeded to say bye ladies have a good night. My friend asked what the problem was and why we couldn't go in. He continued to repeat the same message to her. My other friend loud but polite asked why are you being difficult you just asked us to scan the code that's what we did. The doorman began swearing using the f word telling us if a doorman asks you to leave you leave. There was a lot of back and forth until a young woman came out who said she was the highest authority. I said to her there has been no understanding as to why we are suddenly not allowed in and we are getting quite frustrated and angry now. He continued to say please just leave and have a nice day. The lady that arrived said he's my head doorman and I trust his judgement there's nothing I could do. His door man colleague asked him why are you not letting them in? And then looked at my friend and said I think he is just having a bad day! When the lady that came out asked him why he said they just need to leave I don't need to discuss it she turned around and said I'm sorry if he has decided you can't come in I have to trust his judgement. I asked for the most senior person to speak to she said I am the most senior. I said who owns the bar she said the owner. I asked for an email so I could make a complaint in the morning she said that's privileged information and I don't have to give you that. I quoted the freedom of information act and said I have a right to complain but she refused to give it to me. The original doorman continued to swear and tell us to leave so at this point we left. I would like someone to contact me to discuss why we were refused entry and why we were refused the right to complain and why we were verbally abused by your staff. We were all wearing appropriate PPE and following the rules. Some of us were a bit loud but we had done nothing wrong that...

This was my first visit to Leicester and when I went inside I found an amazing domed ceiling. The barman was Mitch and he made us feel very welcome. We were given sufficient time to order our food and the service was good. I had a fish finger sandwich and it was excellent and then chose a cocktail which was also good. Got charged twice , I didn’t check but and realise until I got home. Went in for 1 drink , at £11.50 paid contactless but lady came over to table and said “ it didn’t go through “ . When checking bank app later it did go through and a separate one of £27.20. Now there’s no way to email them to get refund , only a fb page with WhatsApp which I don’t use. An email address would be appreciated if you can reply . I’m sure it was a genuine mistake but I’m still £27.20 out...
