My first ever visit to this café which appears to be part of a nine room hotel close to Esplanade in Scarborough. The café is beautifully decorated and reminds me of many hotels that I remember from the nineteen seventies. Unfortunately the coffee seems to be a common weak blend that's served by many of the independent coffee shops in this region. A brilliant feature is the steps that leads up to the entrance, it makes for a more pleasant atmosphere without the usual clutter of push chairs and motorised wheelchairs. Like most catering businesses today, this café does close early, so I recommend that you visit no later than lunchtime.

Quality coffee, soft and fluffy pancakes, moist and flavorful cakes, the list goes on. We originally had a reservation at Sea Life at 11:00am but couldn’t leave this cafe without ordering more of their goodies, ended up rescheduling our reservation to 12:30pm and barely made it!
