As a solo traveller, I decided to book a table for dinner bang on 6pm so that anything I ordered would likely be one of the very first cooked at the start of service.

The service was excellent (thank you Casey), polite, accurate, and efficient. Staff wore casual smart dress and I liked the lack of official uniform, it complimented the casual and laid back atmosphere of the restaurant. I sat on the veranda and watched the world go by on a pleasant late summer evening.

My orderwas taken with ease and I wasn't disappointed with the food at all. The Greek chicken skewer with roast vegetables, Greek salad and pita was well cooked and prepared on the griddle and the Tzatziki was divine (although a little more of it would have been perfect). Chicken was tender and juicy, the sweet potato fries were cooked well and the salad had a good amount of feta in it.

Sorbet was refreshing to wash it all down with. Prices were reasonable and the staff very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

I would recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone venturing to Christchurch as it's definitely a great find 🙂
