Not a great experience at all. From start to finish. Firstly, booked a table for 11:30, received an email confirmation however upon arriving, they were closed! Apparently they don’t open until midday? How ridiculous that the booking system allows you to book when they’re closed! Sit and order our food (4 people, all ordering crepes) communication was a little tricky as the waitress didn’t seem to understand the order of two crepes with lemon & sugar????? She had to go and phone the boss to see if that would be ok? Eventually she returned to confirm that was ok. The two other orders were Biscoff crepe and Nutella crepe. We were asked to pay immediately upon ordering (table service) which I thought was strange. I declined and said I’d pay at the end, she seemed irritated by this and reluctantly walked away. I’m So glad I refused to pay up front. All 4 crepes arrived about half an hour later (we were the only customers in there) and they were really disappointing. Gutted 😔 They were cold. They appeared to be cooked from fresh but I believe they must have been cooked separately and sat waiting for all 4 to be ready before they were served? The two lemon & sugars and the Biscoff crepes were eaten but I personally only ate two mouthfuls of the Nutella crepe, it wasn’t enjoyable and not as described (served with warm Nutella sauce!). We weren’t asked at any point of everything was ok, therefore upon paying at the till I said I was disappointed with the crepes however I was willing to pay for the 3 that had been eaten but not my Nutella one. The waitress literally walked away from me, without any apology or explanation and proceeded to make another phonecall in front of me, speaking in a language I couldn’t understand. She called an older gentleman over to assist, he also didn’t even acknowledge me and he seemed to suggest something to her? I was then asked if I wanted a fresh Nutella crepe made? Seriously?????? I’m at the till, with my coat on, ready to leave. No I don’t want a crepe. After what took a long time, the waitress and the gentleman took off the cost of my crepe and I paid the balance. The whole experience was far from acceptable and with ZERO customer service. An industry I have worked in and know even basic standards. I wasn’t allowed a copy of the bill? It all Just felt unusual and underhand. I will absolutely not return and would recommend to anyone, pay at the end of service. I feel it would have been an even bigger nightmare getting a refund! Such a shame. The deco is great, it’s very clean and very...
Read moreRight along Western Road, you’ll see a gold, luminous, and bright signage labeled…TREATZ! I’ve been here a couple of times and this time was better than the rest! Compared to my last visit I’m proud to say that they’ve stepped up their game!
It was quite busy at around 3pm but my friend and I managed to grab a table within 5 minutes. There were tons of desserts to choose from but I’ve decided to go for their NEW MENU ITEMS for a change!
🍞That white chocolate and lotus French toast was… the best dessert I’ve had in a long time! Perfect combination of sweetness from the sweet milk, silky smooth lotus ice cream, and layers of crunchy biscoff in between. I kept on going for seconds and I’d definitely get this again!
🍫 Ferrero Rocher cookie dough was something I’ve never tried before! Literally Ferrero Rocher deconstructed! This is quite a chocolate overload if I’m being frank so all you chocolate lovers would die for this! Perhaps vanilla ice cream would be best instead of chocolate.
🥞 Pistachio and white chocolate pancakes were delicious! I’m a huge pistachio lover and would have loved to see more pistachio compared to white chocolate. What made this so so yummy was the pistachio gelato and that light whipped cream!
☕️Chai karak! You can never go wrong with it! What made theirs different compared to Middle Eastern style is the addition of ginger which left a cooling sensation in your throat! Perfect hot drink on a rainy day! What’s great is that it isn’t sweet so it pairs so well with the dessert!
😋 If you’re in Brighton I recommend you pass by Treatz to grab dessert but please bring a friend or two to finish...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had the worst experience ever at Treatz Dessert in Brighton today around 8 p.m.
The waitress on shift (dark brown hair, wearing white) was beyond unprofessional. We walked in and stood there for a while before she even noticed us — and even then, only after we literally had to raise our voices to get her attention. She was completely absorbed in her phone and chatting with people at the back instead of doing her job.
When she finally decided to serve us, it took ages — and then she gave us broken ice cream cones with no apology at all. Even worse, she got our entire order wrong. We asked for strawberry and pistachio waffle with ice cream cones, and somehow ended up with mint and some random flavor nobody asked for. We tried calling her back over, and guess what? She was still busy texting on her phone and didn’t even look our way.
When we finally told her the order was wrong, instead of apologizing, she got rude and accused us of ordering the wrong thing. It was genuinely shocking. No professionalism, no courtesy — just attitude.
Treatz, if you’re reading this: your staff desperately need training in basic customer service, especially the one on duty tonight. She clearly doesn’t care about the customers or the reputation of your brand.
To anyone thinking of visiting — don’t. Save your time and money. Brighton has way better dessert spots where you’ll actually be treated like a...
