I used to order from here all the time, I loved it. Really tasty food. It always came hot. It was perfect as my job meant sometimes I couldn’t eat pretty much all day so this was very needed at the end of a busy night. Although idk if I was ordering too much (maybe 2x time a week sometimes more Ik it’s pretty bad but still) because I feel like i started annoying the staff idk if I’m being crazy. The food started decreasing in quality: tastes, looks etc. Idrm too much at first because it was much better than a greasy burger. But then last night I got my two favourites and when I had finished my meal I started feeling really sick I didn’t think much of it at first but it got worse and worse to the point where I really sadly had to throw up quite badly. I felt better after. But I’m kinda scared to go back because it really messed my stomach up. Honesty would’ve been 5stars if not for those few things the presentation and taste of the food here is usually amazing. Just sad I can’t order from my favourite...
Read moreA new sushi restaurant has recently opened near our home, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Nigiri & Sashimi Super Box and the Salmon Avocado Eel Kaburi. Both dishes were such a pleasant surprise for me and my boyfriend when they arrived – beautifully presented and visually impressive.
When I tasted the hand-pressed sushi rice, rather than machine-made, I instantly knew this restaurant was something different. The sushi pieces were also perfectly sized to fit comfortably in the mouth. In terms of taste, it’s absolutely top marks by UK standards, and the plating was just as impressive as the flavours.
Asaka at the restaurant was warm and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The only minor downside was that the table we were seated at had very limited legroom, which was slightly uncomfortable. However, the food itself was faultless.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality sushi...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic sushi! We recently ordered from The Sushi Co. on Western Road in Brighton, and the experience was genuinely excellent from start to finish.
The sushi was incredibly fresh, the rice perfect, and the wakame was spot on. What really impressed me was that each sushi had its own distinct flavour, something that's often missing even in other places where everything tends to taste the same.
I've been living in Brighton for 10 years, and it makes me genuinely happy to finally find a sushi place that offers both quality and value, without ripping you off. This place absolutely deserves 5 stars.
There was a bit of a delay with delivery, but to be fair, it wasn’t their fault. Uber kept failing to collect the order. In the end, they resolved it, and honestly, good things are worth the wait.
Highly recommended. I'll definitely be...
