The boba drink is advertised as having tapioca pearls, but they cost 60p extra. And the when choosing your sugar level, you get the option of 0-5 "additional sugar", in other bubble tea shops they give you a choice of sugar level, i.e. 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 125%, etc. It's a great system, why do it differently to confuse the customer? Sometimes you want 25% sugar especially if the drink is already very sweet. I ended up getting 3 additional sugar because I thought that would be the equivalent of 75% sugar or something, but no. The drink I had was white chocolate white chocolate coffee boba, I was curious. But it tasted like nothing but pure syrup, after 1 sip it was completely inedible. I'm the type of person who can handle sweet things, but this was so sweet it was beyond drinkable. And I'm not convinced there was any flavour in there, if there was, it was certainly drowned out by the sugar.
And if you want the drink as advertised in the picture as well, you have to pay a bunch of extras for extra crumbs and stuff. Why don't you just give a base version as advertised? Instead of tricking me into getting it and then realising I'm not going to get what's on the picture because I don't want to pay an extra £1.
Not to be overly harsh but I just won't ever see a reason to come back to this shop, when I can get a much better product elsewhere. And I hope you take my feedback...
Read moreHi,
I came to one of your franchises today in leicester and I wanted to tell you my experience.
I came as a young woman on Xmas eve that had started her period.
I begged the 2 women behind the counter who I thought, as woman to woman would understand that it was Xmas eve and there were no toilets and I simply wanted to change my period pad.
They refused, it makes me sad to know that this is the world that we have come to. And as a woman I would NEVER let a woman experience the same issues.
If a man had periods it would never have had that same response.
This is my first and only experience with your company and I'm appaled this is how I was treated- like an animal.
If anyone had knocked my own home door with the same issues I'd let them use my toilets in a heartbeat.
This is not equality and this is what I've first hand experienced of your company.
I will never return for anything due to this.
I'll ensure this goes on the Internet so others know how I was...
Read moreI am a regular daily customer but today’s experience was the worst I’ve had. I ordered two chocolate milks through Uber Eats, but what I received was basically plain milk with almost no chocolate. The drink was nearly white, with only a tiny bit of chocolate at the bottom. The taste confirmed it – it was just milk.
When I raised this, staff member Kateline was very rude. Instead of apologising, she simply pointed at the tiny bit of chocolate at the bottom and insisted that was enough. I was even called into the shop after ordering online, wasting my time, only to be treated with disrespect.
This is unacceptable, especially for loyal customers. I’ve attached my purchase history to show I come here regularly, but after this I won’t be returning. I’ve already applied for a refund through Uber Eats. Very bad service, very poor attitude, and no professionalism from the staff...
