Recently taken over by new management and fully refurbished, The Sussex Yeoman has had a fresh update that’s well worth checking out. Located just a short walk from Brighton Railway Station, it’s ideally situated for those looking to unwind either before or after a journey.

With its welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, this pub is truly one-of-a-kind in the area. The Sussex Yeoman offers a fantastic selection of lagers, cask ales, fine wines, and spirits, setting it apart with its elevated ambiance and excellent service. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the entire space is spotless, which only enhances the comfortable vibe.

Visited for an impromptu pub lunch with the team and we were all not disappointed. We all opted to not actually drink so I can't speak to how the drinks are but the food was fantastic. They had a varied and fun menu that had the pub favourties and some unique eats. Plenty of options for veggie too. I had a sweet potato burger that came topped with beetroot and halloumi..YUMM!. The side salad was also so refreshing, cabbage, cucumber, radish, carrots, and so much more. The chips were also fresh and crispy. Only thing I would suggest would be a sauce with the burger as it's served on a ciabatta which is bit of drier bread. I would definitely recommend and would be back for lunch...

Outstanding service from ease of booking to a warm welcome on the day. The menu was varied with some unusual dishes and popular choices too. I was tempted by the vegetarian options but decided on pigeon as I like something different. All the food we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented and everything about our experience was positive. We met with family who had travelled a long way so needed a venue near the station; it could not have been a better choice had we travelled miles.
