Walker's Café & Breakfast Bar — Restaurant in Great Britain

We walked around looking for a cafe for early breakfast and they were open but as we approached we heard an old lady's voice screech 'are they coming in?? We're not open!!"

I looked in and there was a lad behind the counter who looked like he only just crawled out of the gene pool yesterday. He just gawped at me with his mouth hanging open until I asked " So you're closed then?" to which he confirmed. I think we were about 20 minutes too early.

We walked down the street for barely 5 seconds and immediately spotted somewhere that looked much more professional and appealing, Lindale. After our breakfast, Lindale was pretty packed out. We made our way out and passed Walkers and couldnt help but notice they had a single customer. Speaks volumes, really. They can't even even bothered to open up half hour earlier to compete...

Disappointing. Needs a good deep clean incompetent staff not charging me for my meal then later apoligised. Staff dont seem to handle working under pressure when busy. Staff not seen to be wiping tables, needs regular cleaning, a dirty fork present and no napkins in the pot also rubbish left from previous customers. The cafe dated needs a refurb in my opinion. Requested marmalade but only have jam, need to provide this also the fresh orange is overly priced charging £2 for a very small glass. This little cafe could be a better one and there is always room for...
