Buxton Charcoal Grill — Restaurant in High Peak

Absolutely DISGUSTING service! Would not recommend... The man tried to scammed us by overcharging the food which I confronted him that he gave me the wrong change. He then tries to make out that I ordered another item but I never did so I mentioned to him the items of the price stated on the board. He then took the money back, pretended to open the cashier to get the right change, but still gave me the exact same change! At this point it was a complete joke, which I then told him again but he acted obvious and said "one moment" while went off to make our food and have a chat to his colleague. Eventually, his colleague came back and gave us the right money. We told them to have a good night in a polite way seeing as the man did not seem to know what is morally right. To top the night off, he did not put any salad on my partner's order which it clearly states on the board that it was included in it. It was never about the money in the first place but it was the way we got treated like idiots. Advice is to avoid...

Twice in a row the order was delivered wrong. Last time was told the missing items would be 10 minutes, turned up over an hour later, this time again items missing so asked for the whole order to be sent again and we would give what they delivered back so we could eat together, wouldn't do this and said the missing items would definitely be with us within 10 minutes. 15 minutes later surprise, surprise still nothing so called again and they hadnt even sent it. Was then told it would be here in another 20 minutes, 20 minutes have now gone and what a surprise, no food! When it did finally turn up they still missed the chips off, jokers! We will try the new takeaway Big Chef that has just opened next time surely it can't be any worse than the service here. Complaint also left on Just Eat where the order was placed. If ordering from here make sure you order a few days before you actually want the food and you might be lucky and get it on time and if you are really lucky you might even get what...

Myself and my partner ordered a calzone and when it arrived it was wet as if it had been sitting in a pool of water, not sure how it was like that but after we rang to Complain about it after being hung up on twice as soon as we started to say about the state of our meal! Once we did get to talk to them the reluctantly sent us out a new Calzone which unfortunately was the exact same as the first one ! We didn't even accept it from the delivery driver ! We sent it back, rang the establishment and told them that it was the same and ensured us that calzones are just like that! Even though we've orders from them many times before hand and it was never like that! When we asked for refund he refused to and told us to come down and cook it ourselves very rudely!! I'll never be ordering off this place again and hope nobody else...
