This place could bee seen like a double face, Italian people that are missing the Italian cuisine ( especially the Sicilian one) or English people that want try the true Italian cuisine. Starting from very abundant and rich bruschetta with pistachio cream and mozzarella to the focaccia with mortadella, all of them served in their home-made bread (that you can actually buy it like a bakery). A wide menu with high quality food, all of them imported straight from Sicily like the Sicilian cannolo, an unique dessert that only this one in this restaurant can match the original one, because even the ricotta cheese is imported in order to be respectful ad possible to the original receipt. Great food means more if the customer service is excellent as is in this restaurant. Friendly and gently people na a proper Italian stile. This place must be visited when you are Liverpool also because they do fantastic cocktails too!

Tough one for me, this. I would say absolutely go for the pistachio cannoli, as it was incredible. Like the best I've had in this city by a clear mile. The staff member who served us was wonderful too. Didn't get her name but she was great. We had some issues. They "only had one lasagne" and it's not like there's many other mains to choose from. But also how can you only have one lasagne? Bread and olives felt a bit stingy in the portion size too. A handful of olives and two slices of sourdough cut in half to make four. £6.50? The men's toilet door does not lock, and there was pee everywhere. May have been bad timing but it just wasn't a great experience. All in all, no rush to go back at those prices. We spent £30 each on two drinks, some bread, and a starter.

We loved this place. So much so that we visited 2 out of our 4 nights in Liverpool and for breakfast. The staff are extremely friendly and service is great.  The food is top quality. Fresh produce and the most delicious meats and cheese platters. Everything was perfect. The selection of items on the board is excellent. The bella di cerigonola olives are huge and delicious.  All beautifully presented too. Plenty of drink options and I loved the spicy callente cocktail.  You must try it. Breakfast was good,  bacon and pork belly on waffles. Excellent black coffee. Just wish we lived closer as it would certainly be a place we'd visit time and time again.

Went to this place with parents, sister our partners and children; total 6 adults 2 kids. Booked for 3pm Sat. We did get a drinks order quickly but waited over 40 minutes for someone to take our food order, in the end I went downstairs to ask, then waited another 5 minutes for the server to take the orders; the table arrived later than us and got their order taken promptly well before us.The food was lovely, one of the dishes myself and my partner ordered was missing and his food arrived at least 5 minutes after everyone elses so I never bothered to say anything as husband just wanted to eat at that point. We like to eat out and our Dad likes to treat us and likes to tip big, he is easily pleased but this time he chose not to tip as the service...
