Staff are genuinely so unwelcoming. On all separate occasions: (1) I got kicked out for protecting my (female) friend who was suspected to have been spiked. (2) I lost my wallet here, collected it the day after (with £50 missing) from the bar staff who was visibly anxious, trembling words and seemed extremely guilty. (3) Bouncer denied me entry to meet my friends who arrived before me as I arrived and tried to get in on my own and said I couldn't get in if I didn't have my friends with me (who's numbers I don't have) so couldn't get in until they saw me waiting outside and instantly got approved entry when they came outside... Very good music, awful staff, like to think they're the best club around and act all pretentious and prestigious but in doing so give themselves a bad,...
Read moreThe manager blamed me and my friends for calling an ambulance for our other friend who was spiked after two drinks. I tried to tell the manager my concerns and she said she was looking for him yet hadn't asked me a single detail about his appearance, we were clearly getting brushed off. Every time I've been since the manger and bouncers have accused me off being a trouble maker for daring to call an ambulance for my friend who was spiked. The manager is misogynistic and has no regard for safe guarding issues, it's a shame this place has really went downhill and there are much better clubs...
Read moreLA’GO is a venue with two distinct identities in the day vs the night. In the day it is a lovely pub/bar to go inside and have affordable drinks and chat to the locals. Good atmosphere with trivia and sports on the TVs. At night the crowd type changes to more younger students and the venue resembles more of a club. Overall LA’GO is a known and established venue in the Liverpool Nightlife scene that everyone knows and associates with a good time.
I’d recommend to anyone...
