Moiim Korean Deli — Restaurant in Liverpool

Having wanting to come to this place for a long time, I had high expectations of the place. However I was disappointed when trying their dishes, I ordered a half and half of the spicy and sweet and sour chicken with rice and a kimchi fried rice with the pear drink( I think). The rice of both dishes came out cold which was a massive no no for me already. The chicken of both flavours again cold sadly and didn't really have much of a difference in flavours, just plain sticky in general and this really did disappoint me when eating them. The kimchi fried rice was the most disappointing as the most kimchi I had was the rice being red probably from the kimchi sauce/liquids but no sign of any kimchi at all, or if there was any they probably shred it too small so there was no texture at all when eating it. Plus the tiniest sprinkle of nori(seaweed) on the top, which I might say was pathetic. I'd say for the price you pay for the portions you get as well as quality they aren't worth it. Also, the pear juice again having high expectations, it tasted a bit like someone's bad breath for some reason, I'm unsure why but it's how it was. The atmosphere and staff were amazing, that's why it feels a shame to have tried the food and it being so disappointing. I will have to try the other options such as the corn dogs however I might add the options are not many, with probably under 10 options in the whole place and not many vegan options either. Sad to say they did not do Korean food justice and I sadly won't be going to visit them...

Me and my girlfriend just went here for lunch and we were blown away. The food was incredible, the customer service was lovely, in fact some of the best I’ve ever received. And the pricing is great especially for what you get. My girlfriend doesn’t usually like sauce but she loved their homemade sauce (as I did too) which goes great with the corn dogs. I highly recommend the corn dogs as I would say they are the best in Liverpool, as they are the tastiest and have the fairest price, Liverpool corn dogs usually are empty inside and don’t have enough filling , these are full inside and have good filling compared to other competitors. Divine Korean Fried Chicken, succulent flavoursome, crispy but coated with a gorgeous spicy hot sauce or a milder sweet with sesame one. We are now regulars and go for the rice bowls (and an extra portion of chicken pieces, not because you need it, the portions are generous), the radish pickles are so nice its got me making them at home now so i can have a fix beween visits. The rice is sticky and soft and so tasty. The Katsu is also very tasty. I find eating these bowls with chops sticks is the best way to slow down and really enjoy eating this, its so moreish you just end up shovelling it in with a spoon otherwise.
