I had a bad fall last Saturday evening at this bar and I would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful way they looked after me. My sister and I were having a lovely time but it didn't end well. I slipped on the stairs and fell down knocking myself out. I can't remember much myself but my sister could not praise the staff enough. She said they dealt with the accident with great compassion and care. Organising an ambulance swiftly and making sure I had dignity and respect during the ordeal. I am thankfully on the mend but it has been a very difficult week and I am sure things could have been a lot worse without the care I received at this bar. Read moreThis is a very large bar. I asked for a gin and tonic and the barman snapped at me saying it is a doubles bar. I agreed to a double £8.00 which is extortionate. The place was freezing so kept my coat on. I was dumbfounded with the fact that it was the best gay bar in Liverpool and discovered that it was the worst. All those trophies mean nothing if your service is poor. You can have all the fancy ornate walls and ceilings but music was average but again the service is poor. Why have a rude customer facing barman, who clearly didn't want to be there. Sack the barman with the little ponytail or get him to clean up his act literally, he needs to be shown where the shower is and wear...
Read moreThe staff was amazing always polite, nice place for a calm drink but I wouldn't drink to much as their toilets aren't the best at all...they look after the bar area amazingly but totally leave their toilets go to hell, never hand soap to wash your hands in only cold water as the hot water tap is never working at all, toilet roll holder is broken to bits so it's mostly found on the floor...I wouldn't recommend this bar while their main fault is the toilets, just think about all those people that's been in there and can't wash their hands...
