Really disappointed with this restaurant. I had heard good things from people who have visited in the past, but I think it must have gone down hill since then. There was no atmosphere in this restaurant, not even any music playing, it all felt very clinical. The outside of the restaurant looked very nice but when inside we were put on a tiny table with a cheap disposable table cloth. The two members of staff were very friendly but we could tell they were overworked and understaffed. I actually think the one chap waiting on was the chef?! The service was incredibly slow for the minimal amount of people in the restaurant. We were genuinely there two hours in total and hadnât ordered a lot of food. The portion size was skimpy, one slice of prawn toast between the two of us cut up into finger sized little pieces (meant for two people!) that was almost comical and we did laugh. The food that came had so much MSG in it, very very salty taste that hit your taste buds instantly! The food wasnât very hot either. Then the price of the meal for the two of us at the end was ÂŁ55!! The food is second to none. We visited the restaurant last night with our young grandchildren who wonât eat any other ribs apart from âTerryâs ribs â !!!âŚ.â they have got very good taste, they are amazing !! As usual all of the food was superb, freshly cooked and swiftly served by great staff. We finished with the toffee apples which definitely deserve a mention ! We have been patrons of this restaurant for many years but somehow you never seem to think to give your favourites a review - I am rectifying this now and I would advise anyone to go and visit Terry and Theresa and enjoy some wonderful food which is always consistent. The spicy lamb was tender and full of flavour. I asked for it to be extra spicy which they kindly obliged. The prices are very reasonable.
The service is very friendly and the chef & owners greet & interact with...
