I went here for a quick dinner on a Friday evening. Took me by surprise. It’s like the one in Canary Wharf but had a much better selection of eateries. We went for the Salt Shed which is a steak place as we had heard about it from a friend. The concept is cool, there’s a number of eating places under one room with communal seating dotted around and two or maybe three bars where you can get alcohol should you want it. This place works better than somewhere like Brixton pop where there is only one bar. It was busy but no queues. Great atmosphere there I think there was a mix of people who work nearby and had just finished work to groups of friends having a night out. You could stay there a short or long time in my opinion. Great selection of food from sushi to tacos to steak. Felt less like street food and more like mini kitchens so the quality felt slightly higher. The food we had was amazing. We went to the Salt Shed. I had a sweet burger and it was sensational. The meat was delicious but the toppings and overall flavour was awesome! It was dripping and I couldn’t get there smell off my fingers until I had washed my hands three times but I didn’t care as the faint smell of it took me back to how delicious it was. The bavette steak was tasty and well seasoned. Also in the area itself there’s plenty of seating and the toilets were well maintained. I would 100% go back to the market halls and would definitely have the burger from Salt Shed again. Will keep an eye out as I think they have other restaurants around the uk too.

Went to the opening day of the new Market Hall in West End today and we was impressed! Following on from their success with Market Halls Victoria and Fulham comes a new massive 1300 capacity Bar and Food venue in the heart of Central London's West End showcasing menus from some of the hottest street food traders around! Just what the area needs and I can see this becoming one of the hottest places to be especially in the Summer attracting the likes of Christmas shoppers, after work crowds and those starting a night out. It's perfectly located right near Oxford Circus and has something for everyone. So you can go here with anyone, your fussy eater friends, those who want to eat and those who just want to drink! The service is great and friendly from each vendor and also the floor staff who clean up and keep the areas looking inviting. Stand in awe on Gopal's Corner and watch the chef flip n stretch that dough for the Roti or take a peek at the Pleasant Lady and how they spread them Crepes on the hot plate ;) On a personal note though I would love to see a Stone Baked Pizza Oven option and SQUIRREL from its Victoria location here in the future!

If you happen to be in Oxford Street, need a place to wind down, rest your feet after lots of walking, have lunch or drinks, this is a nice place to be. Location is near John Lewis and truly spacious. They accept bookings over their website as well. We booked for a table and we have to wipe it down. It wasn't clean, but understand as there seems to be only one staff member cleaning in our section. There's a lot of diverse selection and my friend who eats halal can dine here. There are Malay, Filipino, Thai food, as well as bbq and burger pop ups, gelato, donuts and market halls' own bar. We specifically came for 20ft fried chicken and its lunch deal. They have a really long queue and gives out vibrating coasters for us to know when food is done. Love their chicken burgers but staff seems stressed. I also ordered Filipino lumpias and fried chicken skin from the next stall. I personally would not come all the way just for this place, as there's a lot of crowds in Oxford Street. But would stop by here if I'm in the area.

Went for lunch with 2 hungry young kids and visiting friends from Germany. We have been here a few times before and found it really good.

This time, walking around to choose, I found half of the places staff just in the back looking at phones and not even looking at me or greeting me when I stood at the counter or looking at the menu.

I quickly moved on as if they cannot even bother greeting customers, then I do not want them cooking. They just looked like they really did not want to be there or working.

The Taco place told us to come back and order in 15 minutes..

Eventually got Ramen, and then the noodles from the other stall. My daughter wasnt impressed as the Ramen came with spaghetti and not proper ramen noodles. I was quite shocked. Then with the noodles from the other stall, we waited almost half an hour.. I had to go and enquire twice and saw them just chatting and told me 3 minutes (it wasn't). It arrived which looked like it was made with Spaghetti once again. The chicken was half skin and fat.

My friends had Tacos (they waited) and they were given the leftover sauces because they had run out, so 3 small little containers with 1/5th full of sauce.

I was quite shocked as previously the service was good, the place was busy and the food was really good. This time I was pretty horrified. It was far from busy with maybe 10%. A really poor experience and hope the management sort this out as I will not...

Sadly our visit yesterday was not great, the only good thing was the food from Sexy Buns, the rest of the experience was pretty diabolical. We arrived 10 minutes earlier than we had booked for, we waited where it tells you to wait if you have made a booking, not one member of the staff asked if we needed any help, they just completely ignored us, so after a few minutes I asked the guy on the bar what we should do, he said the lady who will deal with us is downstairs so to wait. After 10 minutes still no sign so we went in such of our table, which we found and told the lady on Sexy Buns who we were and she said she would let them know we had arrived, not sure if she did or not. We ordered a couple of bottles of water from the bar and when I pick my glass of water up the bottom of the glass fell out and completely soaked me, there was water all over the floor, so my daughter went back to the bar to explain what had happened, someone eventually came over to clean it up, well in a fashion there was water still all over the floor and he also found it highly amusing that I had split water all over myself, when I told him what actually happened he only wanted to know if there was glass on the floor as he was cleaning it up with blue roll and not a mop!! Total lack of any management and I have never seen such miserable staff!! We won't ever return as this could have been a...
