Al-Saha — Restaurant in London

Came across this restaurant accidentally because I got too hungry after taking long walk during the cold winter. I ordered 1 Grilled Chicken and it came with huge portion, including rice/chip and salad all for £13 only! Since the portion is huge I only bought one for me & my husband to eat. The grilled chicken tastes really good, contrary to the older review. They also provide 2 sauces, garlic & chili, which taste heavenly good and fresh. I’m talking especially as an asian who is struggling to find non-bland food in the UK 😂 I guess they have significantly improve their quality over time, and I hope it will always be consistently good.

The staff in the counter were also really friendly. I might be coming back again and order...

Terrible experience. I ordered a few plates with Deliveroo since it said on their Deliveroo menu that everything is gluten free. However since it is very dangerous I also called the restaurant to double check. Nobody spoke enough English to understand my question. So I contacted Deliveroo help and they assured me everything was in fact gluten free.

Obviously when the food arrived EVERYTHING was full of gluten. Every piece of grilled meat was wrapped with normal pitta bread, fries were not gluten free nor the sauces.....this is incredibly reckless. Someone could get seriously hurt or even worse. I know this restaurant for years. I come here when I want a traditional Lebanese breakfast. In the review, I call it brunch because we had it at midday and it keeps us full all day. Super tasty Manakish, the best smooth houmous ever, fresh kibble ( with meat), traditional Lebanese falafel, pickles, mint tea, fresh fruit juice.... it has everything you want to take you back in time to Lebanon and the traditions of the country.
