Great bar, great service, and great beer. What isn't so great is the smell. I thought it was just an unfortunate patron had bad food poisoning, but I was then told by a friend who knows the smell well as he previously worked in bars, that it's actually the smell of dead rats. It immerses the whole bar area, and gets to the back of your throat.
Given I was there for several hours, my theory of somebody having terrible guts was cast aside to the new theory.
The owners definitely need to check this out! It would be a terrible shame if people stopped coming because the smell got that bad.
I gave 3 stars mainly because the staff, the service and the beer were great, but the smell I just can't see past....
