I had the worst experience here. My waitress was sweet. She was the best part of my experience. As an Angus steak house one would assume they know what they’re doing when cooking a steak. I ordered my steak medium well and got back a raw bloody steak. When I requested it be fired up a little longer as to get what I had originally requested. My waitress made me cut completely through the steak making it bleed even more and turning my stomach. When it was returned to me it was still medium rare…. I had to send it back again. At this point they should have lit just given me a new steak…… cooked properly. But no. I was given back a very very very dry and over cooked steak. It was grey and hard to chew. Needless to say I wasn’t eating that bad excuse for a steak. At 39£ I wanted perfection…. When the waitress saw I wasn’t eating she approached the manager who then came and asked the problem. He was very kind and offered me a different meal. Chicken, ribs, salad…. I explained that the sight of so much blood and raw meat ruined my appetite and I no longer wanted to eat. He didn’t charge me for the steak that they severely ruined; and that was nice however it doesn’t change the fact that it was a horrible experience. I will not return. P.S…… we ordered calamari rings as an appetizer and those although edible were also far beneath standard. They were more like calamari nuggets. Over cooked and...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend this place to eat at all, my was the angus sliced steak with Carolina chunky chips and mushroom sauce.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, still after I order my steak medium rare, I have to wait 20 minutes for it to arrive, the steak was cooked well done, after a couple of minutes the waiter came to ask if everything was ok, I kindly asked her if she could change it as that was not how I ordered it and it wasn't really my preference, she took the meal back but left my chips on the side, I end up almost finishing my side as the chips were getting cold, I have to wait I think another 20 minutes for the dish to reach my table again and this time the steak was raw, taking in consideration the total of the bill because is not a cheap average place I was expecting something more, being honest I never really ate in Steak House before but I would not recommend it at all. My experience was awful, I end up paying almost 24£ for a steak which I had two slices from it, I had to leave the rest as it was impossible to eat, again wasn't cooked at all, it was just raw and disgusting.
Total of the bill came £43.14 for myself only.
With that money I would recommend people just to keep looking around for some other places where you can actually enjoy good food probably paying half of what I paid in...
Read moreWe attending this restaurant yesterday for the second time this year but were turned away. The manager said that they could not accommodate my son who has a nut allergy. We had eaten in the restaurant before and they were very accommodating hence the reason for our return. However our experience this time was not so pleasant, though the manager apologised stating legislation had changed and it was not possible for them to clean down their kitchen for my son to eat as they were far too busy, we were therefore left with no where to eat after waiting all day for our booking. The manager suggested we go to Piccadilly Circus "Angus Steakhouse" as they could possibly serve us but he wasn't willing to call ahead to check availability (at 7pm on a Friday evening) he said just turn up and see!!!!! Sorry???? I had booked our table two weeks previous to yesterday's booking and no one had the decency to let us know that they wouldn't be able to accommodate a child with an allergy. I feel this needs to be stated on the website, in this day and age with lots of people with different allergies to turn people away with no alternative arrangements in the middle of London is disgusting and not acceptable. We will not be making any further bookings with the company Angus Steakhouse again....
