Read moreWe stumbled upon Artist Cafe during a morning walk through London, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. This cozy spot has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and a charming, artistic interior that makes you want to linger.
We ordered two breakfasts: the classic English breakfast and a more vegetarian-style one with poached eggs, halloumi, and fresh vegetables. Both dishes were beautifully presented and, more importantly, tasted fantastic.
The English breakfast was spot-on – crispy bacon, perfectly cooked sausage, mushrooms, baked beans, a fried egg, and toast. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and generously portioned – exactly what you’d hope for in a proper British breakfast.
The second dish was a lighter, fresher option, and it was just as satisfying. The grilled halloumi was golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Paired with perfectly poached eggs, avocado, toasted bread, and a colorful mix of vegetables, it was a delicious and well-balanced plate.
The coffee was also excellent – rich, aromatic, and served with a smile.
Artist Cafe is the kind of place we’d happily return to, whether for another hearty breakfast or just a good coffee in an inspiring setting. If you’re looking for great food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this spot is well...
