Appalling Service – Discriminatory and Unprofessional Staff

I am absolutely disgusted by the way we were treated at this establishment. I had made a reservation for a simple pre-theatre drink with my 67-year-old mother and 70-year-old uncle, and from the moment we arrived, we were met with blatant rudeness and disrespect. The doorman treated us like we were beneath him and made it clear that he didn’t "approve" of my guests for some reason, despite our completely valid booking.

To be treated with such disdain, especially towards two elderly individuals, is nothing short of shameful. The whole ordeal felt like an attempt to humiliate us, and it wasn't until the manager decided to "confirm" our reservation that we were reluctantly allowed in. By that point, the entire experience was ruined.

This level of discrimination and poor customer service is appalling and unacceptable in any setting. No one should have to feel this unwelcome, especially in a place that claims to value its patrons. Avoid this place at all costs if you expect even a shred of...

I recently visited Be At One in Covent Garden with a friend, and what an incredible experience it was! The atmosphere is second to none – vibrant, fun, and full of energy. The music, the lighting, and the overall vibe made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a night out.

A special highlight for me was ordering the Raspberry Beret – a cocktail that my friend’s son actually designed! Knowing he crafts cocktails for the company added such a personal and exciting touch to the visit. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint – it’s refreshing, delicious, and perfectly balanced. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it!

I booked to come here for my birthday and I really didn't enjoy it. The staff were rude on arrival, sent me to the wrong table, so I went back to explain it was for someone else and they acted like I was an inconvenience.

So I eventually got a table that I had booked for 10 people. It was the smallest table that only 3 people could sit comfortably at. When I asked how 10 people would sit, the manager said rudley "if you read the small print it says only some of your guests will be able to sit down & it's a cocktail bar what do you expect?". Well I expected 10 people to sit which is why I booked for 10! This really should have been made clearer. I made a joke after this that it was my birthday and my previous experience of birthdays at Be At One had been nicer including making me feel a bit special on my birthday such as giving free shots or something. He snapped at me that it's a bar and I shouldn't expect him to give away free stuff! I've worked in bars! Seriously, what was his problem! Never again will I go back to...
