My recent experience at Brooklands Fine Cocktail Bar was nothing short of spectacular 🇬🇧 The breathtaking views of London’s skyline, from The Shard to the London Eye, provided a stunning backdrop for an evening of sophisticated cocktails 🍸 The bar’s innovative menu has a range of creative and delicious concoctions, each with its own unique personality.
While all of the conceptual cocktails were exceptional, three in particular stood out for me: Silver Stream: This tropical-inspired cocktail was a perfect blend of rum, pear, coconut, honey, and lemon, resulting in a silky and refined flavour profile. First Class Fizz: This elegant and sophisticated drink celebrated heritage with an aromatic and sparkling finish, featuring a beautiful blend of Marsala, dry apricot, and Champagne. Earl Grey: This classic cocktail was given a modern twist, incorporating Earl Grey tea to create a refreshing and invigorating beverage.
I will be back for sure to this bar, especially as Spring and Summer arrive, making it an iconic rooftop bar...
Read moreMy parents stayed at The Peninsula Hotel and we decided to visit the bar at night for a little treat. We were in for a great surprise upon discovering the unique theme at Brooklands Bar. The concept, inspired by engineering and vehicles, particularly the iconic Concorde, was fascinating. The lift leading up to the bar had a hot air balloon theme, complete with sound effects that mimicked the balloon’s ascent—such a clever touch!
The manager kindly assisted us in securing our reserved table, and the atmosphere was just perfect. The spacious bar offered stunning views of London by night, which made the experience even more special. We also had a look at the Cigar room, which had a cool and inviting vibe.
The drinks were absolutely delicious, and the small bites served were a great addition to our evening. Overall, it was a fantastic night out, and I highly recommend Brooklands Bar for anyone looking to enjoy great drinks, a unique theme, and an amazing...
Read moreCertainly a glitzy bar but one must admit that it seems a bit of a case of style over substance. On the very crowded and competitive London bar scene, it takes something truly exceptional for a bar to stand out and be worth visiting, and unfortunately, Brooklands does miss that mark, despite the friendly and attentive service.
The elevator sound effects serves as a good precursor to the rest of the experience which one must say just seems a tad gimmicky. The much-hyped view is hardly the best to be found at a London bar and most importantly, I felt there was a distinct lack of atmosphere, energy, esprit.
Would definitely recommend going to Little Blue instead if you are at The Pen. If you are willing to travel, try The Connaught Bar or Side Hustle...
