⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exquisite Taste of Tradition at Cafer Erol London 1807!

If you're looking for an authentic Turkish delight experience in London, Cafer Erol London 1807 is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of premium Turkish sweets, coffee, and an atmosphere that transports you straight to the heart of Istanbul.

✹ Outstanding Quality & Authentic Flavors Cafer Erol is renowned for its luxurious Turkish delights (lokum), baklava, and pistachio treats, and this London location lives up to that legendary reputation. Every bite is a burst of rich, natural flavors—never overly sweet, always perfectly balanced. The pistachio baklava is a masterpiece: crispy layers of filo pastry, generously filled with crushed pistachios, and soaked in just the right amount of syrup. The rose-flavored lokum is another highlight—soft, fragrant, and utterly divine.

☕ Perfect Pairings: Turkish Coffee & Tea No visit is complete without trying their traditional Turkish coffee—strong, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. Pair it with a piece of marzipan or chocolate-covered delight, and you’re in heaven. Their apple tea is also a delightful choice, offering a soothing, fruity complement to the sweets.

đŸ›ïž Elegant Ambiance & Impeccable Service The shop itself is beautifully designed, blending Ottoman-inspired elegance with a modern touch. The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to guide you through their vast selection. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, you’re treated like family.

🎁 Perfect for Gifts & Special Occasions Their exquisite gift boxes make for a luxurious present. I’ve brought them to friends and colleagues, and every time, they’re met with awe. The packaging is elegant, and the quality inside speaks for itself.

💯 Final Verdict: A Sweet Paradise! Cafer Erol London 1807 isn’t just a sweet shop—it’s an experience. Whether you're craving authentic Turkish desserts, looking for a unique gift, or simply want to enjoy a moment of indulgence, this place exceeds expectations in every way. 10/10 would recommend!

Steer clear of this place - served by an extremely rude man which really ruined our experience, making a 5 hour journey from up north for this.

I went to cafe Erol in Knightsbridge with my bestfriend as we had seen it had recently opened and wanted to try.

The member of staff with a bold head who was wearing a blazer and pants- assuming may be in a managerial position - was very abrupt and rude to my friend and I. I had brought in another cafe’s food (Baklava from Hadiz Mustafá in a box bagged up) and was eating that whilst I was waiting for my tea and my friends food to arrive, as it was taking a while. In this time around 5 members of staff had walked past me and not said anything to me. This member of staff in question had then walked past my table and said I was not about to eat what I was doing and had to put it away immediately, he stood and waited near me for a while. The initial request was understandable , yet the tone he delivered it in was not. He then proceeded to point at my friend and I to around 3 members of staff, my friend can speak Turkish so understood that he was in fact talking about us in a rude manner. This is totally unacceptable for a cafe to make us feel this unwelcome and the staff member to continuously point at us and talk about us in way that was disrespectful. When paying for the bill we make a decision to take the service charge off, the member of staff was hovering and waiting around us whilst this was happening. We expressed to this other member of staff why we did that and did in fact point out who made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. When we did confront the staff member and tried to explain how we were feeling In that moment, he proceeded to lie to us, talk over us and whilst we were mid conversation he walked away.

The way he walked away whilst we were talking just solidified how rude he acted, that he was unable to just let us finish our sentence about his behaviour and how poor he acted. We had come to London for a celebration and this is made us both feel very upset. We will not be returning and I really hope other people will steer clear of this cafe to avoid such a bad experience. Avoid at all costs as there are other places nearby with much better service at the...

A lovely Turkish Cafe. A delightful blend of heritage and hospitality. With its roots in the renowned Turkish confectionery brand established in 1807, the cafĂ© brings a piece of Ottoman-era tradition into modern London through its sweet treats and rich ambiance. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the coffee presentation is beautiful. The nut baklava was excellent — crisp, rich, and full of flavour — though the pistachio one didn’t quite match the same quality, tasting like cheaper pistachios were used. The pomegranate juice was also a bit too sweet for my liking. One small note: it would have been a nice touch to have a dedicated prayer room downstairs, especially given the cultural background and diverse clientele the cafĂ© attracts. Overall, a great spot with friendly service and authentic touches. P.S. Don’t forget to go downstairs for a trip down history lane. You’ll also find a secret of what the place used to be.
