Caviar Kaspia London — Restaurant in London

Came here for dinner with my family last night for our last night in London and completely regret it.

Coming from a culture and family background that has always been around caviar, the dishes here are underwhelming. All of the standard dishes with caviar included, are the lowest quality of caviar. It was almost like a “mush” for the price.

Aside from the caviar, the food itself lacked flavor and was served cold. We ordered multiple different dishes and each was cold.

For a restaurant as expensive as this one, you would expect the plates to be hot serving the food.

Service wise - our waitress was extremely sweet and explained everything well. I can’t complain about that. That’s why this review is two starts not one. But there are a few things I was surprised with given such an expensive restaurant Nobody offered a purse hook or a stool for any of our bags Nobody offered to call a taxi when we were leaving

Asked us to leave before we order desserts for my birthday We were late by 15 minutes( we arrived at8.15 instead of8 pm) , on our arrival first thing they said was you late and it will come off your 2 hours allowed time, fair enough we were late ,but the starter came at 9 , 45 minutes later after we ordered and main course came at 9.30 pm , how could we finished our expensive dinner in 25 minutes ? Then they came to us and say if we want dessert we have to go to the bar area for our dessert! It was my birthday ! 2 tables next to us was occupied for hours and they’ve been there before us but no one asked them to leave ! I felt humiliated.At the end we decided to leave . I dined at here on Thursday night with a friend, and while the food was excellent, the overall atmosphere was disappointing. Despite the restaurant being empty, the ambiance was far from classy. There were girls at the middle table taking pictures with a big camera and flash, and another group was incredibly loud, even using their phones on loudspeaker.
